I love this film. It has great richness and contrast and can be developed practically anywhere which is a plus for B&W film.

I used this film in Japan on a trip using a Zorki 4 with a Jupiter 8 f2/50mm. I did a lot of street photography in Tokyo and developing this and using glossy prints everything was really amazing. super surprised by the quality. I know photographer skill, camera and lens make a difference for quality but still I was pleasantly impressed.

Great chromogenic film. Perfect option for black and white film shooters that don't have a decent pro lab available or don't want to process their own traditional silver halide black and white film. This film has also given me good results when scanned.

These films were sent to Guatemala to a photographer who can not find them there. He will take photos of the daily life in Antigua and post them on his daily blog. He is very excited to receive these to accent his work.

Used it in a Minolta Hi-Matic 7S. Gave an overall good BW image, but had to tweak in PSE 12. Enjoyed shooting with and will def. buy more. Easy to get developed at local lab since it is C41.

This film takes great black and white photos with no problems at all. If you the type of photographer that likes to get there film processed and printed a drug store then this film is good for you! develops in color chemicals which drug stores use

I suppose it's somewhat fitting that XP2 Super has become the "last man standing" in regard to chromogenic B&W film – they were first to market with this film type (okay, pretty much the same time Agfa released theirs, but who remembers *them?*). I used XP2 off-and-on over the last few decades, but this film truly came into its own when digital film scanning started too become more mainstream. This film scans so well it's almost scary; use a scanner with Digital ICE and the workflow becomes even easier and faster, while maintaining the film's virtues of almost-vanishing grain, silly-wide latitude and high detail. And, unlike Kodak's recently-deceased BW400CN (which I also liked a lot, alas), you can still hit the darkroom with this film and make a silver print without going though major contortions.

In short: highly recommended.

I use this film professionally and it's one of my main 3 film types. Huge latitude, perfect contrast (in my opinion anyways) and it being C-41 process is really handy.

XP2 is a great black and white film for art photography. It is a small grain film that has nice grays and blacks. Best of all I can take it to the lab and get the photos back in a hour.
