A: You shouldn't need the Honl strap. The lower part of the reflector has its own Velcro strap which stretches and wraps around the head of your speed light. That's the Velcro that you're talking about that you say is on the back and one side.

Q: 7. Will 66mm hobos and patterns fit? If not, which ones will?

A: Being that this snoot do not have lenses built into it, it would not be able to accept nor project 66mm M size gobos. However, we do offer the Elinchrom Minispot Projection Attachment for Elinchrom Flash Heads B&H # ELMS which accepts its own 53mm gobos which are included. Please see the image below for reference.

A: A snoot will provide a tighter light pattern depending on snoot being using and grids will apply a softer gradient light pattern.

A: Not a bad snoot. I use it with the elc kit though it is prone to light leak. So gaphers tape may be needed. If I was to do it all over I would've bought the elinchrome brand. Yes it will fit the ranger
