The DNTOBOB88 from Lectrosonics is a 19" rack mount kit for the DNTBOB88 Dante break-out box (sold separately). It features a 1 RU panel with a powder coated finish and is engraved with DNTBOB88 lettering and the Lectrosonics logo. It includes six screws for mounting the break-out box housing to the rack mount panel.

A: The Scrim Jim system is very modular, so you can always get very close to whatever size you are trying to create. There are post sizes of 10", 22", 34", and 46". There are also 1" and 2" connectors. Therefore, the closest you could get to 5'x8' would be two 46" posts and a 2" connector to achieve the 8' side. You would use a 46" post and 10" post with a 2" connector to acheive the 5' side. You would also get 4 corner connectors which add 1" on every side. Q: 4. Can you route (via Dante Controller) separately to Headphone and Line Out? As in, are they separate Dante Receivers, or do you send it one signal and both headphone and line out get the same signal?

A: The AM2 has 2 channel I/O which means you can both listen to , and monitor 2 Dante channels. There is no way to split them up between the headphone out and line out.Thank you for your question.

Q: 6. Does anyone know if you can use this for a rear projection? (ie: shoot a projector through the back to display to the front?

A: I am assuming you mean like putting an image on the screen and showing it behind your subject? Since you said shoot through back and front display. Not actually using it to watch anything on?I think that would be possible.

A: It would be best to steam the fabric rather than press it.

A: thank you for your question. The ultranet output is only personal monitoring systems such as the Behringer P-16M. To use this interface you would need to get the dante expansion card B&H # KLDN32DANTE.

Q: 10. do I need a clamp or there is some 3/8 female thread on the middle of the frame?

A: There are 3/8 female thread on them. Id suggest ordering the Matthelini clamps and then attaching them to c stands. This is the route I went with and it works great.

Ive used this for two years now and it has become an indispensable tool in my lighting arsenal. I bought it for the diffusion, but over time Ive added every 4 x 4 cloth they make (plus the 4 x 8 floppy cutter) and basically, this never gets put away. It is fast and effective for diffusion, bounce, and flagging; looks professional; has held up spectacularly. I bought a second set. Be sure to pair it with a good clamp so you can mount the frame into a grip head -- this gives you near-infinite nuance in how you tip, tilt, and distance the cloth from the light. I am currently equipping a new studio and buying these again, with gusto. 5

I love these, they work great! They are easy to set up and tear down and as a cinematographer that shoots solo alot of the time this is very much appreciated! I love the diffusion materials they provide but id definitely recommend getting additonal diffusion!! I highly recommend 5

I learned about this product from Daniel Norton youtube videos. Shooting light through it or bouncing off of the reflective surfaces provides a large beautiful soft uniform source. I purchased the 1-1/4 f-stop scrim separately and use it mounted opposite the included 3/4 f-stop to produce a super-soft effect. The frame is easy to assemble. The hook and loop fasteners around the entire surface ensures tight uniform mounting of the scrim and reflector. I clamp it with a Matthews Matthellini Clamp with 6 End Jaw overhead - into a knuckle for a C-stand. It knocks down easily to fit in the included case. There is room in the case for everything including the clamp I added to mount it. In spite of the size, I find myself using it a lot! 5

Yeah is pricey but this thing is solid. Metal internal frame and you can really snug the supplied nuts tight for the cold shoe. Removing the cold shoe and mounting on a small friction arm is really nice too! 5

I have two of the older style scrim jims, where friction holds the corners together (often rather poorly). I love the new design, with the positive lock corners. We used the 6x6 on our last shoot for both an overhead diffusion, and with the reflector silver/white. Super useful. 5
