A: yes we did. But we thought it's really not as good as thought. It's too bulky as a dash cam since now they have something that's really compact.

A: If you want to have an external power source, you need to purchase the adapter kit for motorcycles. It has a opening on the side to connect to a power source. We use a external battery to video sports but it isn't as waterproof because of that opening...

A: I connected a mini HDMI cable from the camera to my HD TV showing live action on the TV, but not for recording it. Also, just to note from experience, although the camera has 4K recording capability, the playback from a movie at that resolution can only be shown on a 4K UHD TV.
