A: Yes, the WD My Cloud PR2100 2-Bay NAS Enclosure can be configured with larger sized drives, but would require that then all drives be replaced simultaneously if increasing storage size and configuring the drives for a RAID setup. For example starting with 2x 8TB drives for a total of 16TB and later upgrading it to 2x 16TB for a total of 32TB of storage space.

A: As Western Digital manufactures drives as well as enclosures, it is very likely the drive inside is a Western Digital drive, however the manufacturers do vary this from time to time without varying the SKU or Serial numbers. This prevents us from being able to guarantee the brand of drives inside. With regard to drive speed, it is highly likely that since the manufacturer did not list the drive speed, that it contains 5400 RPM drives. Had the drives been any faster the bullet points would reflect that.
