Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this lens compatible with a D750?

A: Look up a D750 it says the lens mount is F. I believe they will work with each other

Q: 2. WHAT is the AOV of this lens on a BMPCC super 16 sensor ??

A: The original Pocket Cinema Camera has a 2.88x crop factor. This would be the equivalent of a 46mm lens on that camera.

Q: 3. For a Sky-Watcher Evostar ED APO 72mm, do I need an additional part to attach to an e mount ?

A: In order to use the Kowa TSN-CM2-SE T-Mount Camera Adapter Ring (Sony E-Mount) with the Sky-Watcher Evostar ED APO 72mm f/5.8 Refractor Guidescope, you would need an adapter such as the Celestron SLR (35mm OR Digital) Camera Adapter for All Refractor and Reflector Telescopes which Accept 1.25" Eyepieces, BH #CETA1.25 (https://bhpho.to/3q7TzO6)

Q: 4. Will this work for a Sony A6400?

A: Yes, the Kowa TSN-CM2-SE T-Mount Camera Adapter Ring (Sony E-Mount) is compatible on the a6400.

Q: 5. Greetings,Will this lense mount on Canon EOS (Rebel T3i)? I understand it is manual focus, I suspect manual exposure as well?much thanks, phil g

A: Yes, the Rokinon 16mm f/2.0 is compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel T3i, and will be a fully manual lens, including focus and exposure.

Q: 6. Would this lens be compatible with the Black Magic Studio Camera (not the 4K)? I don't see it listed in the Compatibility section, but if it's MFT...shouldn't it fit?

A: Yes this lens is compatible with the Blackmagic Studio Camera.

Q: 7. Does the AE Chip work on a D3500? What does the AE chip do?

A: Yes, the AE chip allows communication between lens and camera, for aperture and metering purposes.

Q: 8. I should get this as opposed to the 14mm full frame for a c300 me llamo?

A: The c300 has a super 35 sensor which is roughly equivalent to APS-C, therefore an APS-C lens would be the best fit for that camera.

Q: 9. A 16mm APS-C lens on a APS-C camera, is the equivalent of a 16mm full frame lens on a full frame camera? OR the equivalent of a 16mm full frame lens on a APS-C camera? I think the angle of view of a 16mm full frame lens on an APS-C camera is 82°50 and a 16mm full frame lens on a full frame camera is 106°60?

A: Lenses are listed by their focal length and from there they are subject to the crop factor of the camera. This lens will be subject to the standard 1.5x crop factor of an APS-C Sensor and will be the equivalent of a 24mm lens.

Q: 10. Will I be able to use the in-camera manual-metering exposure system on a Nikon D7100 when using this lens?

A: Yes, when you set your aperture to the red f22, you will be able to use the sub command dial on the front of the grip, using your right index finger, to set and change your aperture and the exposure compensation button does function properly. Auto exposure has been very accurate on my d7100. The only thing missing is auto focus, which, in my opinion, would be almost useless anyway, with such a wide angle lens. Personally, I much prefer the big, smooth-turning, manual focus ring on this lens, to having auto-focus.

This is the lens to keep for the rest of your life if you choose to keep one from the Fuji system. Two years ago, I sold this lens by mistake. Now I am regretting. This lens renders images beautifully and has a pleasing out-of-focus transition. I'm planning to order it once again with an XT-5.

I usually shoot wide, street photography, documentary and also landscape. This is the best lens I have ever had, so sharp, nice bokeh on the 1.4 aperture and of course in low light conditions.

I feel like I am borrowing someone else's lens. This thing is amazing in low-light, it's tack sharp for what I use it for which is small nature and urban shots. This lens is awesome. And I recommend the metal Fuji Lens hood for it too.

Amazing minimal close focusing distance and fast autofocus (on x-pro3). Images are tack sharp and image quality is on par with Sony's lenses. While it is comparably a larger lens than the Fuji f/2 primes, I do not consider it a large lens at all coming from a past Sigma 35mm Art owner and current Sony A7Rii user. Build quality is amazing and paired with the metal hood this is a winner.

I've heard lots of nice things about this lens and after using it for a few days I have to concur. Granted, it is a little larger and heavier than you'd expect, but it's already delivered some great photos for me. It focuses fast and the f/1.4 works great in low light situations. Plus, as you've probably heard, you can focus on objects just 6 inches away. This is a great wide-angle lens and I'm certain that I'll be using it for years to come.

Such a great lens. I had heard lots of good things about this lens, and I am hear you tell you it is all true. The close focus capability of this lens is crazy. I can almost use this as a macro. And the bokeh is butter.
