The Regal Premium Tripod from Celestron features four-section aluminum legs with three angle adjustments and a two-way pan fluid head with one handle and a 1/4"-20 quick release adapter.

The two-way fluid pan head has a single handle and two tension knobs for easy movement, pan-and-tilt adjustment, and securing the position. A quick release plate has a standard 1/4"-20 adapter for attaching your spotting scope, binocular, camera, or a small telescope.

The aluminum legs are adjustable in length and have three angle settings. Each leg has four sections and can be shortened or lengthened with the flip of a simple lever lock. Two of the legs have padded handles for a comfortable grip in any weather and protection for your shoulder during carrying. To secure your tripod in one place, there are interchangeable rubber or spiked feet.

With the center column fully extended, the maximum height is nearly 69". With the column down, the height is 59". The bottom of the column holds a retractable ballast hook that can hold additional weight to add stability. When it is not needed, you can retract it into the center column and keep it out of the way.

          Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does the 25x70 ceslestron work with this tripod?

A: Yes the Celestron SkyMaster 25x70 Binocular would fit on this tripod with the Tripod Adapter that came in the box with the Binoculars.

Q: 2. Can this scope be used with a Sony A6000. Is a T adapter available?

A: That is not a problem. All you would need is the Vello T-Mount Lens to Sony E-Mount Camera Adapter. Website link: https://bhpho.to/2crVPMn

Q: 3. A common criticism of this scope is that the mounting foot is too far forward. It appears that if the foot/support ring were turned around, the overall balance would be better. Can this be done by the user?

A: Unfortunately, the foot/support ring cannot be turned around.

Q: 4. If used with Nikon D810 (FF) and appropriate adapter, what would be the effective focal length at the widest (20x) setting? Thanks.

          A: Like using a 1,000mm lense at 20X

Q: 5. Do you sell a solar filter that fits this spotting scope (for viewing the solar eclipse)?

          A: Unfortunately we do not.

Q: 6. Which adapter would you recommend for the Regal M2 80ED to use with Nikon D810? Thanks

A: I would recommend the Novagrade Digiscoping Adapter for Nikon DSLR Cameras BH #NOUA00NI01 • MFR #UA-00NI-01 https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1007579-REG/novagrade_ua_00ni_01_nikon_camera_universal_adapter.html

Q: 7. Will this support Celestron 25x100 Binoculars without wobbling?

A: The Regal Premium Tripod will support the SkyMaster 25x100 binocular. However, the surface you set the tripod on, such as grass, can help to minimize vibrations or wobbling compared to other surfaces.

Q: 8. Would these be suitable or good for boating viewing over water?

A: So these would somewhat work on Land. However on a Boat might not be the choice since there will be a lot of movement. I would recommend going with a 7X50 Binocular for the Boat. The Nikon 7x50 Action Extreme ATB Binoculars would be a great option. Link: https://bhpho.to/3m0rzas

Q: 9. Would these be good for boaters & viewing over the water?

A: Yes they are Nitrogen Filled, Water & Fogproof

Q: 10. Do these come with a harness?

A: In the Box: Celestron 8x42 Regal ED Binocular Lens Cloth Neck Strap Carrying Harness Hard Carrying Case with Strap Ocular Rainguard 2 x Objective Lens Cap Limited Lifetime Warranty

A great scope. images are sharp and clear, no CA (a bit, only in white objects if you look for), no another distortion. I use it with a few different eyepieces and a binoviewer. it's work great.

(for the 8x42 Regal ED) Blown away. When I received them I was very impressed. It had been a few years since I had used some other great Binoculars but my first impression was that these might be as good as the best I have ever used. Was not sure until I had a chance to compare with a friend. He had a pair of $1000 Nikon 10x42. Four different people used both and with zero hesitation declared the Celestrons easily superior. WOW

As an older guy, I have learned good glass is sometimes the difference between successes and failures in a hunt/operation. These are the second set of Regals I have and was VERY impressed with the clarity of them. I am retired now and bought these Binoculars mainly for hunting Moose, Bears, and 4 legged predators. They compare to much more expensive sets I have gone through belonging to work.

Bought to use with a Celestron Ultima 100 spotting scope and, as anticipated, the Celestron product works well with another Celestron product (imagine that!). A decent tripod for the $$$'s.

Very good optics. Really like the adaptor ring to allow mounting of DSLR camera using T ring. Also allows use of single focal length astronomy eyepieces. Good eye relief with glasses at lower powers.

Does a wonderful job for wildlife viewing in remarkably low light. Can't wait to try it later this summer on stars in the Boundary Waters. Oof and Course focus a really nice feature once you get a feel for it. Get a heavy tripod!
