A: B&H buys and sells film in bulk. In general we regularly maintain fresh film stock. All of our film is at least 6 months from expiration (typically much longer). Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.

Q: 5. Does this film have a remjet backing? Can it be developed in regular E6 chemistry?

A: This film does not have the backing, it can be processed in E-6.

A: The expiration date is printed on the film package. The seller should indicate this to you when ordering.

A: Unfortunately, Fujifilm Quick Load films were discontinued several years ago.

A: I'm sorry it is not compatible with your camera, you will need 8mm, not super 8.

Q: 9. Is this film better overexposed? Or shot at box speed?

A: There is some confusion in these answers. People are confusing shooting under box speed with shooting underexposed. This film works best at box speed or a little bit underexposed. If you decided to shoot underexposed, you would be shooting it at over the box speed - that is, with your meter / camera set at 160 ASA instead of 100 ASA. Then you'd be under-exposing by half a stop. Good luck.

Q: 10. How to store and transport exposed sheet film now that Fuji Quick Load is no more?

A: Two options that I use. One is to leave it in the holder till I get back. Two, using a changing bag or tent, I empty the holders and move the film to an empty film box and sleeve to store the exposed sheets. B&H also sells some type of light tight sleeve for sheet films.
