The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is tan and comes with a 1mm diameter cable. It terminates to a Screw-on TA4-F connector for use with Mipro and Beyerdynamic wireless transmitters.

Q: 1. I have a R7. Is there a way to use the mic as a shotgun mic and a wireless lapel mic with it? Can I plug the wireless go mic into the mic input on the side?

A: When using the Canon DM-E1D Stereo Microphone with the Canon R7, you would only be able to use the Canon DM-E1D Stereo Microphone, or the wireless lavalier microphone system, but not both microphones at the same time.

Q: 10. Is this compatible with Canon eos 5d mark2?

A: No, the Canon DM-E1D is not compatible with the EOS 5D Mark II camera. The DM-E1D uses a cable-free and battery-free connection to attach to select Canon cameras equipped with Canon's new Multi-Function Shoe, which is a standard feature on the new EOS R3 Mirrorless Digital Camera. Since the 5D Mark II uses a conventional hot shoe, not the Multi-Function Shoe, you can use the Canon DM-E1 Directional Microphone (B&H # CADME1) which uses a wired connection and it is battery powered.
