This Whirlwind Medusa Standard Series 24 Channel (0x Return) Snake is a snake cable with a heavy-duty steel stagebox at one end and a fanout at the other end. The cabling consists of heavy-duty, flexible Belden CM rated multipair cable. Each pair contains two twisted 24GA 7x32 polyethylene insulated conductors with 100% foil shield and 24GA drain wire.

The fanouts feature genuine Whirlwind connectors. Mic channels are numbered and return connectors are lettered by engraving the metal barrel with large, easy to read graphics.

Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multipair cable, making setup and teardown much faster and easier, with less tangling and clutter than would otherwise be the case.

Anytime film stock is less than 6 months from expiration we sell it in a separate section and label it as short-dated film and also price it with a slight discount (again due to the volumes we sell this rarely occurs). Unfortunately we do not have access to our inventory to hand inspect the expiration date of any of our films prior to purchase.We do not take any special precautions when shipping film (it is worth noting that the film manufacturers do not have any special shipping precautions when delivering to us we ship under the same conditions as they do). UPS has advised us that the scanners they use during transit are not strong enough to damage any photographic or x-ray sensitive products during shipping. We recommend using them as your carrier and if you are concerned about shipping conditions, can always opt to ship with Next Day or 2nd Day options so as to minimize the amount of time the film sits in transit.
