The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. The compact size and placement just in front of the ear make this microphone particularly well-suited for intimate theater and broadcast applications, or any use where low mic visibility is a key factor.

The omnidirectional pickup pattern provides a generous and forgiving pickup area around the perimeter of the capsule, while the stainless steel construction stands up to daily use, makeup, and sweat. The mic also comes with 3 different interchangeable caps that let you choose between a flat, bright, or very bright frequency response.

This version of the E6s is black and comes with a 1mm diameter cable. It terminates to a Screw-on 4-pin Mini connector for use with Sabine wireless transmitters.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is there a big sound quality difference between the NTG2 vs. the NTG3?

A: There are certainly marked differences that warrant the wide price differences. The NTG3 is designed for the broadcast or film professional and is well suited for outdoor use. That said, the NTG2 is an excellent entry level shotgun and serves well for wedding and event videography as well. ------------- NOTE:-----------------The microphone features radio-frequency (RF) interference properties that avoid annoying noise and interference caused by nearby RF sources such as radio antennas, WiFi networks, internet devices, power lines, etc. The microphone is also built to withstand the rigors of adverse weather conditions.Of course special attention is paid to the accurate, directional pickup characteristics and its frequency response, sensitivity and low noise floor, which result in pristine audio quality. The NTG3 shotgun microphone is an ideal solution for outdoor ENG and studio applications.

Q: 2. Would this work for a canon c200? I know it needs phantom power and I am unsure if the c200 has phantom power.

A: Yes, the Rode NTG3B can be used with a Canon C200. The camera is capable of supplying +48V phantom power for the microphone.

Q: 3. in usb interface mode, how many channels / tracks can be recorded simultaneously?

A: You can select to send either the stereo mix or 6 channel audio to the computer in interface mode. The default is stereo.

Q: 4. Can each channel be panned L/R via menus? If so, will all L and all R be mixed into the "backup stereo mix"?

A: The Zoom H6 Recorder does offer panning controls via the program mixer, which will apply to the stereo mixdown and monitor mix.

Q: 5. What is the signal to noise ratio on the Zoom H6?

A: Zoom has elected not to publish this specification. There are no documents available to support this spec. Please feel free to contact Zoom directly:Tel: (631) - 542-5270Email: info@a href= http://zoom-na.com target= _blank zoom-na.com/aWebsite: a href= http://www.zoom-na.com target= _blank http://www.zoom-na.com/a

Q: 6. Can the NTG3 be used with Xvive U3C wireless plug on system?

A: Yes, you can use the Xvive Audio U3C with the RODE NTG3 Moisture-Resistant Shotgun Microphone (Satin Nickel) because the U3C provides phantom power for condenser mics like the NTG3.

Q: 7. When I used it in my room ( it has very low echo ) but after recording I didn't get clear sound , is using the microphone windscreen will make it better ?

A: If your audio has a lot of rumbling and low frequency noise, or a lot of plosive noise coming from the mouth, a windscreen can help. If you are having other problems in the recording, there may be other issues with your setup causing that, and a windscreen will not help. Please contact us at audio@bhphoto.com , call in by phone, or chat with us, so we can help you get the most out of your Rode NTG3 microphone.

Q: 8. Is one able to receive a L+R from FOH and then still use the attached shotgun mic. Enabling the user to have a direct mix and then still have some room noise to mix in and out?

A: Yes. There are six channels, with two coming from the end-mount element. There are four XLR inputs, with dedicated channels and level controls. Any combination can be recording.

Q: 9. Does the Zoom H6 Recorder Podcast Kit with 1 enCORE Microphone come with both products in their individual boxes? Anyone know the quality of the XLR cable included? Thank you.

A: Everything will come in its original packaging from the manufacturer. The quality of the XLR cable is the second best in the product line and will work great for most aplications.

Q: 10. How to set up different phantom power to mic 1 to 4, ie, 12V to mic 1, and 48 V to mic 2, 3, and 4?

A: You can find the instructions for how to set up phantom power on each input on page 87 of the user manual for the Zoom H6 Handy Recorder: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/lit_files/534154.pdf
