The MIDI protocol allows communication between a computer and a digitally controlled synthesizer (keyboard, drum machine, etc.) by transmitting how the notes are to be produced. For example, commands like note on, note off, pitch shift, and tempo create much smaller files and more realistic music, relying on the synthesizer to create all audible sounds.

This nonserviceable cable features durable, nickel-plated connector bodies, and the stranded copper conductors are surrounded by a dense copper shield to ensure interference-resistant data transfer. The right-angle design allows for a better fit and neater cabling in some rigs.

Each of the five pins on the connectors of these MIDI cables is wired to support all MIDI functions, including uploading and downloading data and relaying SysEx information.

Hosa makes their cables in a variety of lengths to suit virtually any application.

Q: 9. Is the RRS bag strap detachable? And also use with the RRS QD tripod strap system?

A: No. The bag offers integrated handles and straps.

Q: 10. What is the actual base diameter? Was wondering if my RRS BH-55 Ball Head with Lever-Release Panning Clamp (2.9 base diameter) might work w this ultra pocket pod even if it looks to be slightly wide.

A: I have a RRS BH-55 ball head. I put it on my pocket pod and it does indeed function the same as if it were on a larger tripod. As was already stated, even with the legs fully deployed, they do not touch the bottom of the BH-55 ball head.
