The AKG CK33 is a modular hyper-cardioid microphone capsule designed for use with the AKG GN series, HM 1000, and LM 3 gooseneck, hanging and lavalier microphone fixtures. The hyper-cardioid polar pattern minimizes noise and ambiance at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone. The result increases directivity and provides high gain-before-feedback response when using near speakers or monitors.

The wide frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz minimizes low frequency noise caused by wind and proximity effect while reproducing audio signal with great accuracy and rich detail. The dual wind screen design employs an outer layer which disperses initial wind stream while the second layer further diffuses the wind stream before reaching the diaphragm. The module design allows quick and easy capsule replacement for added flexibility.

The CK33 is designed with a threaded connection for use with the GN series, HM 1000 or LM 3 microphone fixtures. The modular design offers quick capsule replacement and enhances flexibility.

The hyper-cardioid polar pattern offers a 90 degree pick up area. The result minimizes noise and ambient audio signal at the off-axis (sides) of the microphone capsule.

The wide frequency response of 50Hz to 20kHz offers smooth, accurate audio reproduction while minimizing low frequency noise.

The dual layer windscreen provides a primary layer which disperses the incoming wind stream while the second layer further diffuses wind flow before reaching the diaphragm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this transmit data to the camera?

A: The electronic contacts transfer all Exif data between the camera and lens in order to permit full use of camera functions, including focus magnification, image stabilization, and lens corrections.

Q: 2. Does the lens stop down or do I have to stop it down manually before shooting ?

A: The lens will stop down automatically when you take the photo.

Q: 3. I use iMac 2020 27" and i need an extension for 2 HD monitors, not mirroring. Can this HYPER HyperDrive GEN2 do that?

A: Yes, this hub can enumerate two different displays/desktops.

Q: 4. When will this sense arrive ?

A: Please email us at photo@a href= http://bhphoto.com target= _blank bhphoto.com/a for assistance with your inquiry.

Q: 5. What is the part number of the lens cap and where can I get said lens cap replacement?

A: Unfortunately the closest thing to a lens cap that we have for this lens would be the following: PODFNDR82

Q: 6. Is there a hard infinity stop, or this lens can focus past infinity?

A: The extreme wide lens does barely need focusing, at 5.6 everything is in focus from 2ft to infinity and you can use hyperfocal to even increase the depth of field. See photo of the lens.

Q: 7. this lens work with Nikon?

A: The Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens has a Leica M-Mount. It cannot be used on a Nikon camera.

Q: 8. I haven't used any ultra wide lenses before, so I might be entirely wrong. Looking at the lens front, there's a petal lens hood. If the lens hood is placed in such a way that it won't get in the way, wouldn't it be possible to maybe reduce the size of the hood and instead place a filter thread like 77mm that would be placed within the boundaries of the lens hood?

A: Putting a filter close to the front element would cause vignetting, especially with such a wide angle lens.

Q: 9. I see that Novoflex also makes an adapter M to Canon RF adapter. In your best estimation, would I get the full 10 mm out of this when matched up with the Canon R or R6? I know everything is manual from there, but I see some amazing architectural images shot with this lens.

A: The Novoflex Leica M Lens to Canon RF-Mount Camera Adapter, B&H # NOEOSRLEM, would allow you to connect the Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens to the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera. There would be no effect to the lens' focal length when using the above lens adapter. As such, as the Voigtlander Heliar-Hyper Wide 10mm f/5.6 Aspherical Lens is designed for use on full-frame sensors, it would be a 10mm lens when used on the Canon EOS R Mirrorless Digital Camera or the Canon EOS R6 Mirrorless Digital Camera.

Q: 10. As the lens cap is a slip on type, how to to get a replacement/spare rigid (not the op/tech soft type ?

A: There are no other hard lens caps for this lens at this time.
