The Countryman E6s Omnidirectional Microphone is a miniature earset microphone for virtually invisible operation. A: I do not have the RX10 III but my research shows that Sony is not saying it is compatible but some vendors are saying it is. If you live in San Diego you can borrow my and check it out. I can't tell from the images if the Rx10 has the normal hot shoe mechanism.

A: No it would only take audio from the Canon DM-E1D in that case.
