A: The fan in the Light & Motion StellaPro Reflex Studio does have sound that in some cases can interfere with video audio. It depends on the location of the mic and the lights.

Q: 7. There sint any instructions, How do I make this stand go Horizontal ?

A: There is a small rounded knob just next to the ratchet handle which you would need to loosen first. Next, you would pull the arm which has the reflector clips on it straight up until you can see the end of the arm. Lastly, you need to tilt the arm to your left or right (depending on which orientation you are standing in) and lock down the same knob mentioned earlier.

Q: 8. How many stops does the translucent diffuser give you?

A: Its not specified but 5-1 are usuall between 1 and 2 stops.

Q: 9. Is the interior white or silver? And is the front diffuser removable?

A: Unfortunately, the front diffuser is not removable but the interior is silver.

Q: 10. When used in burst mode, does it show some modeling light between the burst ?

A: Yes, when shooting with the Light & Motion StellaPro Reflex Studio light you can keep the modeling light on in high burst mode.

I love the fact that the reflector has handles, and the diffusion material is just thick enough to transmit light, yet diffuse the light without significant change in color temperature 5

Well constructed and easy to use. The package contains a storage pouch and five colored reflector panels that zipper together into a single hand-held reflector. The handles of the reflector are attached to middle panel which is as a diffuser. A zippered outer shell is placed over the diffuser panel so that the handles extend through the holes provided on the shell. The shell is reversible, and contains the other four colored panels. One side is silver on the front and black on the back. When turned inside-out the shell is gold on the front and white on the back. You simply choose the reflector color you want to use, and position it on the outside of the shell. Then place the diffuser panel in the middle and close the zipper. The reflectors can be hand-held or easily attached to a light stand with a clamp or a velcro strap. For example, I attach the reflector to the boom arm of a C-stand using two 8-inch velcro straps. As a result, the reflectors can be pointed and angled in any direction, and will not fall down if the wind begins to blow or gust. With a simple twisting motion the set of reflectors easily fold back into the 14 storage pouch. 5

Specifically bought for light stand support while traveling. I pack 3 LED tube lights along with these stands for carry on portability while flying on commercial flights. Compact and light - easy to pack in my carry on. 5
