Designed for the high-speed transfers of audio and visual material to Windows and Mac systems, the SBAC-US30 USB 3.0 Reader/Writer from Sony natively supports SxS PRO+ and SxS-1 memory cards, deliver read speeds of up to 440 MB/s and write speeds of 350 MB/s using its USB 3.0 Type-B interface. It is especially useful if your system does not have an ExpressCard slot. Compact, portable, and compatible with USB 2.0, the SBAC-US30 is powered using the USB bus, meaning that now external power is required. Additionally, when using optional adapters, it supports SD, Memory Stick, and XQD media.

Over the years, I have regularly used quite a large number of SxS memory cards all from Sony. They were proven to be always extremely relaible in all my full-HD video recording work that involves non-repeatable crtical events. 64Gb and 128 Gb cards have always been useful for having safe length for non-stop recording situations. These Sony products are of outstanding long-term investment value with excellent file transfer rates, robustness and reliability. 5
