A: No I would not use it to carry a 14 laptop with my kit. There is a dedicated pocket designed to carry a 10 tablet with good protection. I tried a 13 laptop in my bag and it only just fits in the rear pocket but protection would not be great, it is a good bag but not really designed with 14 laptops in mind.
