The RPW120 from Shure is a Beta 87A condenser microphone capsule compatible with most interchangeable Shure handheld transmitters (available separately), with the exception of the BLX and GLX-D systems. It delivers a clear, detailed vocal sound for professional sound reinforcement, broadcasting, and studio recording applications.

The uniform supercardioid polar pattern provides maximized gain-before-feedback along with a smooth frequency response and high sound pressure level capability (140.5 dB).

Featuring an electronic low-frequency roll-off and a shockmount system, the capsule virtually eliminates proximity effect and reduces handling noise. Its circuitry is designed for low susceptibility to RFI and electromagnetic hum.

Q: 1. Regarding the question above. I was told by Radio Popper that I could connect this by wire for triggering while I have a flash in the hotshoe. Here is the response... Yes, you can indeed connect the Jr2 transmitter via the camera PC sync port, freeing up the hot shoe for an on-camera flash. All you need is a 3.5mm to PC sync cord. Can you confirm this? Thanks,Brian

A: Yes the JR2 transmitter has a 3.5 port so from a cameras pc sync port you can attach this to the camera and not use the hotshoe. This is one cord of many that will work,Paramount PW-PC1 Sync Cord - Miniphone to Male PC - Straight - 12 B&H # PAPM1 Mfr # 17PWPC1http://bhpho.to/VA0PkD

Q: 2. can I attach this to the PC cord?

A: From the Radiipopper site. rpjr2. Attach the Jr2 Transmitter to any camera having a standard hot shoe connector. You may also attach the Jr2 Transmitter to the PC Sync or similar connector of your camera with the appropriate cable. In this case, connect the PC Sync port on the side of your camera to the 1/8 sync port on the side of the Jr2 Transmitter. The Jr2 Transmitter can be triggered by your camera's hot shoe or via the sync port on the side of the Jr2 Transmitter.
