Q: 8. I am using the Yongnuo RF-603C II Wireless Flash Trigger Kit with my Canon 5d Mark iii as a shutter release/flash trigger. I am using this trigger on a Pentax K-5, and it works fine. Easy to install on my camera to trigger one or more off-camera speedlites. Great price and seems well made, although I have not had these for long. Would buy again.

I bought these to trigger my camera and not my flash as I have their '622' series to not only remotely trigger but also remotely adjust my speed lights.

I have 5 of these little guys and I love how small and simple they are to use. Only one has died in about 6 years. I use them as both flash triggers and shuttter releases. Very simple to change the channels and switch between transmitter and transceiver mode. I also love that they work seamlessly with Yongnuo flashes without needing another trigger mounted to the flash. I love these things

After years of only shooting with a flash mounted on the camera - and often being frustrated by the technical and creative limitations of not having the option to move it off camera - I finally decided I needed a wireless option and found these Yongnuo flash triggers were available, for a very good price. Super easy to use, just flick the (tiny) switches in the battery compartment to the same channel and they're ready to go. After four months of use, they have not let me down once. The flash fires every time and I doubt most people would ever reach the limits of the range in normal shooting - works great even from several rooms away. And plugging in the included cable turns it into a remote shutter release which is quite handy. It's great to have the camera on a tripod and have the flash in your hand and move it around freely while taking shots to quickly get lots of different lighting looks. The shutter release feature can also be used with no flashes involved. All in all, an essential accessory if you have a flash unit and are wanting to get it off the camera body without spending tons of cash. I have not encountered any problems with it yet and will probably be buying another pair in the future so multiple flashes can be added to the mix.

A simple, cheap, and foolproof way for anyone wanting to enter the (often intimidating) world of off-camera lighting without having to strap a GameBoy-sized gizmo to their hot shoe. I've had these now for over 2 years, shooting once or twice a week, and I've yet to replace the batteries or have a strobe fail to fire.

For anyone curious if these will work with SONY bodies, the answer is yes and no. YES they will fire an external flash; NO they will not work as a remote trigger (no 3-pin connector on the SONY).

Easy to start using them right away. I needed a hot shoe/tripod adapter to use them with my setup.

Simple, reliable, versatile and they use AAA batteries. Each trigger can be used as a transmitter or a receiver. Easy switch for on/off, transmit or receive and a four pin switch in the battery compartment to select frequency. Incredibly reliable as I use four triggers for capturing images of hummingbirds.
