The D850 is everything I had hoped for and more. In putting it through the passes it has thrilled me so far with it's potential to improve my photography. I can’t wait for more..

For me, I’ve finally made the move up from the 800e. This is an incredible camera. Image quality and detail are magnificent. I can’t think of anything to find fault with.

I needed a new camera, more like needed to put current gear, in my studio, onto the backup and get a new primary body. 850 was an obvious choice for few reasons: #1 my staff are all to familiar with Nikon and changing brand would be unnecessary headache #2 all of my lighting and lenses are geared towards Nikon and #3 wanted to see the fuss :) of super high res.
After a month, camera definitely lives up to its reputation: colors, image quality, noise control are all I've been expecting from Nikon. super high resolution is kicking my @$$ bc it forces me control my technique, slow down and pay more attention while photographing - darn thing picks up tooooo much details. but it's good, it forces me to become better.

The delivery of my order came very quickly and packed to assure safe handling by all between New York and North Dakota! I upgraded from my Nikon D7000 to the D850..and what a great choice it was. Wow! What response. Ordered a D850 and 24-70mm F/2.8 on 12/29/2019 and received it in Snowville, VA on 1/1/2020. Order was packaged properly for this expensive equipment, was informed of the shipping status, and I even had some daylight to try it out. It was everything I was expecting now if I can live up to the capabilities of the camera I'll be in high cotton.

All you need to fully unlock the D850 potential.

Overall, buying the deluxe kit proved worthwhile. The bag when loaded with all my lenses would be too heavy to carry shooting, but an excellent way for travel as it would fit into a overhead bin. The dual batteries worked fine and hopefully will continue too. The cleaning kit helped me understand the sequence of cleaning lenses. The Nikon D-850 is putting me through a learning curve to master the high I.S.O. I am finding I don't need fast lenses using a higher I.S.O and higher shutter speeds without a lot of noise. There are a lot of videos online to learn how to use the camera. I am satisfied with my purchase.

There are plenty of reviews talking about the technical stuff. This is not that review. It's an incredible camera. Period. I run a small commercial photography and video production business and work my cameras hard. This is the second D-850 in my kit. I upgraded these from the D-810s which were also great cameras. The D850 is a workhorse. I use them daily for everything from advertising to run and gun events. The images are amazing. The 4K video is equally outstanding. This kit comes with a great 4TB drive and the Sandisk 64 gig SD which is a bonus.
