A: First, I'm assuming that this is the EF 200mm f/2.8 L IS II (Black Lens) which is the newest version and NOT the EF 200mm f/2.8 L IS (White Version that comes with a tripod mount ring). The EF 200mm f/2.8 L IS II uses a sold separately Tripod Mount Ring A II (B). I currently use the Tripod Mount Ring A II (W) for my EF 70-200mm f/4 L USM lens. The only difference between these two Tripod Mount Rings is the (B) Black and the (W) White color of the Ring. I've used my Lens with the Tripod Mount Ring many times over the last year+ that I've owned it. It works perfectly and supports the lens with my camera attached quite well when attached to a tripod. When mounted on a tripod it is very easy to move between Landscape and Portrait orientation by simply rotating the camera and lens within the Tripod Mount Ring. Of course you need to loosen the Ring, rotate, and then tighten the Ring. This is very easy to do. When shooting with this lens hand held, I find it easier to rotate the base of the Ring upwards to make it easier to support the lens. I prefer this method to removing the Ring when hand holding. I highly recommend the Canon Tripod Mount Ring.

A: Yes, the DZOFilm Catta 70-135mm T2.9 E-Mount Cine Zoom Lens (Black) is an internal zoom lens. Cinema zoom lenses do not extend, as they are commonly used with a matte-box and this formula would not work together.
