A: Yes, but note that the flash bracket doesn't actually attach to the gimbal head. It attaches to the top of the quick release plate of your lens. It will work with any Jobu replacement foot such as the one available for canon supertelephotos or any double dovetail quick release place. However, I found it doesn't fit Kirk replacement foot well for canon lenses so I don't recommend pairing it with any replacement foots from Kirk.

A: The knobs are all metal. METAL \m/. When I opened the package and held it in my hand I almost passed out. This head is awesome. It is a solid piece of workmanship. It works very well. I use it on a carbon fiber tripod with a D810 and it holds its own. The ball is very smooth. You can tighten it up then back it off a little and then adjust your equipment. The tension holds the camera and a zoom just fine while adjusting. The knobs are all metal, no rubber, and have a good grip to them. You do not have to kill it when tightening down. Just snug the knob and it will hold. After you hold this little head in your hand and play with it a little, you will love it.
