Thus the LCD mounting rod, while improved with a non-twisty square post with the F7 Mark II, is not really meant to extend the LCD in shoulder mode. Since Zacuto is all about getting the camera back on the shoulder, and not forward, I do not see this plate being able to do what you wish.
