Q: 1. I am looking to use this with a PCB Einstein and a beauty dish. Will it support the weight and what other configurations do I need to purchase to make this compatible with the Einstein?

A: Great product it takes my profoto heads with a beauty dish no worries. Bob

Q: 2. What sized wheels/casters does this stand take?

A: B&H # AVA9000NB

Q: 3. What are the maximum and minimum inclinations of this boom? I heard that it can support a maximum of 0.9kg at 6 inclination, can anyone explain this further? Thanks!

A: The stand can go 90-0 degrees. At 6 degrees which is almost horizontal and completely extended you cannot put more than 4.4 lbs of equipment on the boom. I also with most booms suggest using a sand bag on the bottom leg to help prevent it from falling over.

Q: 4. Can this hold a reflector? Do I need to buy any additional attachments?

A: This can easily hold a reflector. You best and cost effective solution would to get some A clamps and clamp the reflector to the arm. Click the link below to view; https://bhpho.to/3bmuuqm

Q: 5. For speed lights and a soft box, how does this stand compare to the Manfrotto 420b?

A: We don't have a 420B stand and I haven't looked at what a 420B stand is but this stand is up for abuse. We have loaded it to the max and extended it fully and it holds just about any load we put on it. We work almost exclusively outdoors in any type of weather that exists in the Seattle area and have no problems even submerged in mud and water. We are abusive and it keeps on working. Great asset to have.

Q: 6. Will this boom stand work with the Impact Boom Arm (Black, Chrome-plated, 86 )?

A: The one it comes with is good you dont need that .

Q: 7. At it's minimum height of 45 inches, this stand is too tall to fit into my travel bags. Will the top sections of the stand pull out from the base to make it more compact for travel, or are they fixed in the central column?

A: The Impact Combo Boom Stand (12.95') does not come apart to make the collapsed size smaller.

Q: 8. What is a good bag i.e. one that does not cost as much as the boom stand?

A: If you are looking for an economically-priced case compatible for use with the Impact Combo Boom Stand (12.95') for storage and travel purposes, I would recommend the Ruggard Deluxe Padded 48" Tripod Case (Black), B&H # RUBD3048, or the Tenba T488 TriPak - for Tripod, Light Stand or Umbrella up to 47" long, B&H # TET488B, the K&M 21311 Carrying Case for Speaker/Light Stands(Black), B&H # KM21311, for your usage needs.

Q: 9. What microphone holders are best to use with this stand?

A: This comes with a 3/8 screw which is compatible with many Audio items

Q: 10. Will this work with elinchrom strobes?

A: As Elinchrom strobes have a light stand socket that is compatible with the standard 5/8 Baby stud on the Impact Combo Boom Stand - 12.95'. While it would be compatible with Elinchrom strobes, I would recommend to check the weight of your light and/or any light modifiers you will be using and ensure it fits the stand's maximum load limit. As indicated under the Specifications tab, when used as standard stand, the maximum load of the stand is 19.84 lbs (9.0 kg). When used at maximum extension, the maximum load of the stand is 4.4 lb (2.0 kg), and when used at maximum extension with 6 inclination, the maximum load of the stand is 2.0 lb (0.9 kg).
