The Tiffen 67mm Enhancing Filter (Wide Angle - Low Profile) is a combination of rare earth elements in glass. It removes a portion of the spectrum in the orange region, increasing the color saturation of reddish objects by eliminating the muddy tones and maximizing the red hues with minimal effect on other colors.

We all love Autumn. When the leaves begin to change color, we're all left breathless by their eternal beauty. Capturing those stunning colors on film or digital becomes a priority for any avid photographer. The Enhancing filter is a most valuable tool when it comes to this kind of nature photography. An Enhancer increases the saturation of the red/orange end of the spectrum and makes earth tones thoroughly saturated and vibrant. Colors appear to "pop".

You will find that the Enhancing filter works best in early morning or later afternoon photography - when the light is intense rather than the semi-washed out illumination of mid-day. This filter is also optimized for use during the overcast days of Autumn. Try it on an old barn or wooden bridge.

Tiffen makes the Enhancing filter in many sizes to accommodate the many uses this filter has. This filter can be used by the pro and amateur alike, weekend photo warrior or pro cinematographer and must be considered an essential addition to any photo arsenal.

Tiffen, a leader in the filter industry, proudly makes its filters in the USA and backs up its products with a solid 10-year warranty.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What size ND does this take thickness wise? I'm trying to buy Nisi filters for it, should I get the 100 x 100 mm filter set at 2mm thickness or the 4x4 inch set that has a 4mm thickness? Thank you

A: The matte box does not list a spec for Filter thickness (most filters do not list their thickness either). it is safe to assume that both the 2mm and 4mm will fit in this matte box.

Q: 2. Are the specs accurate for the # of exp.? I'd think you'd get 12 for the 6X4.5's and 16 for the others (6X7/6X9).

A: When shooting with the Holga 193120 120 Wide Angle Pinhole Camera, you will get 16 frames on a 120-roll of film when shooting 6 x 4.5 format. When shooting in 6 x 7 format, you will get 10 frames. When shooting in 6 x 9 format, you will get 8 frames.

Q: 3. Does it work on Raspberry Pi?

A: Yes, with the proper configuration and operating system.

Q: 4. Does it have a filter thread?

A: Yes, I do not personally have a filter for it, but I see threads and the manual says filter size 77mm. Hope this helps.Best, John

Q: 5. Hi, how work it with Panasonic LUMIX G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH II Lens?

A: This conversion lens is not intended for use with the Panasonic LUMIX G 14mm f/2.5 ASPH II Lens, or any Micro Four Thirds system cameras. iT is typically used with consumer camcorders.

Q: 6. Is this lens compatible with Canon VIXIA HF R72 ?

A: Yes it is compatible with the 43mm threading of the Canon HFR700,70 and 72 cameras.

Q: 7. Is the Rukinon 24mm f1.4 ed lens compatible with a canon t5i camera?

A: This Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 has the Pentax K-mount, so would not be compatible with the Canon T5i. You would need the Rokinon 24mm f/1.4 for Canon.

Q: 8. doest it work for nikon d5500?

A: I have a Nikon Df. The lens works perfectly both for focus information and metering in both the FX and DX modes. If the 5500 Nikon is a DX camera, remember that the full format 24mm lens becomes a 36 mm lens in the DX format. The f1.4 is true for both DX and FX modes. Also remember that the Rokinon is a manual focus lens (which I prefer to autofocus lenses. I get great photos in either the FX or DX modes with my 24 mm f1.4 Rokinon, so if my experience is any indicator I believe you will enjoy using this lens.

Q: 9. Can I put an ND filter on this lense or does the glass stick out too much?

A: The lens element does not stick out beyond the filter threads. There is no interference when installing my B+W XS Pro (thin) filter.

Q: 10. Will this lens work with the fujifilm x100t?

A: This Raynox accessory lens is of a generic design that should work with this camera. Be aware that it not specifically designed to complement the built-in Fujifilm lens. But at this price, the compromise may be worth it, especially in good lighting conditions where your aperture is stopped down and the shutter speed is moderate to fast.
