Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. I have the Nikon 200mm macro F/4 macro will this work on my lens ? Full frame D-700 camera.

A: I have that same lens and it did not work. I had to go get the 60mm macro and that works perfectly.

Q: 2. Can I make this work with a Canon RP? A step down adapter s easy, but I don’t have a macro lens. I do have a 24-105mm f/4 and a NiSi closeup adapter.

A: No, this is meant to work with Nikon macro lenses.

Q: 3. Is this rail suitable for a 70-200 zoom lens?

A: the real works fine with a 70-200mm f/2.8

Q: 4. Will this fit a Z 50mm lens?

A: Depends on 50mm lens used. I would suggest using the following for a good shooting experience Nikon 55mm f/2.8 Micro-Nikon lens and PK-13 Extension Tube.

Q: 5. Will it work with a Canon full frame and my ef 100mm macro?

A: Not without a 58mm to 52mm step down adapter ring. And you may need to get an extension tube to get the image to cover the whole sensor. It has a 52mm thread which fits Canon's 50mm macro lens but the 100mm has a 58mm filter thread. It does work really well on Canon's 50mm macro with a 25mm extension tube. I'm getting great results.

Q: 6. Will this viewer hand 2 3/4 x 2 3/4 slides?

A: It takes standard 35mm slides.

Q: 7. Has anyone done a direct comparison of results using an ES-1 with scanning on a Nikon Coolscan 4000?

A: I love it with my D7200. Have not used a coolscan V but have scanned with a conventional scanner. I used a light on light stand behind it and it went incredibly fast and the resolution with a D7200 was phenomenal.

Q: 8. is this for 35 mm slides?

A: I've been using it for 35mm slides without any problems.

Q: 9. Will it work with a Nikon 35-70mm f/3.5 AI-s macro with a 62 to 52mm adapter ring? Thanks!

A: No idea. Don't have the setup to even try. Good luck!

Q: 10. Will this work for a Ricoh GR2 mounted on a K&F travel tripod with pano head?

A: As the Ricoh GR II Digital Camera is a small point-and-shoot camera with a built-in lens, if you are looking for a nodal slide for your usage needs, I would instead recommend the smaller Sunwayfoto DMP-100R Nodal Slide, B&H # SUDMP100R, for your planned usage.
