The charger that came with my camera happened to disappear so I bought a new one and was worried that it would be wrong and negatively effect my battery but I have the d3100 and it works just like the one that came with the camera without any issues 5

This charger is very efficient in its capabilities. I use it to charge both my Nikon batteries. It's easy to use, and in 40-45 minutes I can reach a full charge. Which is extremely important when shooting 8-9 hour events. I love the fact that it's extremely light weight but packed with lots of power. I highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a quality charger. 5

The charger itself is excellent. It has a nice compact design that gits in everywhere. I like the blinking light because it really helps me know when the battery is all set and charged. The only negative are the cost...$45!? Oh well. Also, it can sometimes take up a lot of outlet space when plugged in if if covers space up. But that's also avoidable. 5
