A: No, in order to be able to print directly from a camera, a printer needs to support Pictbridge. Unfortunately there are no similar Dye Sublimation printers with that feature other than the compact and portable ones such as the Canon Selphy printers.

Q: 2. If I want to get into 5x7 printing, will this come with anything to do that? I don't want to print 4x6's, just 5x7 Santa and Easter Bunnny prints.

A: You just need the 5x7 media - everything else is in the box.

A: It has no frame, so you can just roll it up. And it does diminish the output. it also has a tendency to pull itself off of the flash by it's own weight. It's a pretty decent accessory in my opinion, but make no mistake about it, It's pretty limited in almost every regard.

Q: 4. Whats the main differences between the HiTi 520 and the 525?

A: Construction. P525 was redesigned for more durability for portability. Simply replaced some plastic parts for a more durable shell. Same architecture.

Tried a 10ft USB cable and camera was not recognized. I had to use a shorter ( 6ft ) long USB cable and it worked fine but I really need the extra 4ft.

A: I use this printer for our photo booths and event photography. I have used it when I have tethered our canon camera. I have never had a issue. I also use a usb extension with a booster attached.

A: You can switch btwn 4x6 and 5x7 very easily, and you don't need to replace the ribbon, just paper and.

Q: 8. trying to perches a printer can't do order due to location

A: Not sure why that should be a problem. I would contact B&H directly on the phone to see if it can be resolved.

Q: 9. Is the hinge stiffness in opening and closing normal? Does it loosen up??

A: The hinge on the Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 does not loosen up.
