This Whirlwind Medusa Standard Series 32 Channel (0x Return) Snake is a snake cable with a heavy-duty steel stagebox at one end and a fanout at the other end. The cabling consists of heavy-duty, flexible Belden CM rated multipair cable. Each pair contains two twisted 24GA 7x32 polyethylene insulated conductors with 100% foil shield and 24GA drain wire.

The fanouts feature genuine Whirlwind connectors. Mic channels are numbered and return connectors are lettered by engraving the metal barrel with large, easy to read graphics.

Snake cables make it possible to combine several balanced (microphone) cables into one smaller diameter multipair cable, making setup and teardown much faster and easier, with less tangling and clutter than would otherwise be the case.

A: The answer is yes .Of Course you have all the 8 recorded tracks showing individually on your sd card (after shutdown if you do that) even the deleted ones can be retrieved.May I suggest to you, that the best way is to use the USB cord, then go to your options and choose USB connection, that way you don't have to remove the card from the slot, because Tascam as a serious warning, does not recommend to use the recorder without a card inside! So be sure the recorder is completely shutdown before attempting to access the card thru another machine or computer because your card is already formatted for the DP32-SD, so caution should be used before doing this.
