A: You should not have any flicker at those rates. The ballast is adjustable up to 100,000 Hz . The ballast is factory set at 66.67 hz. Even at 24kHz you would be fine.

A: Yes, the K 5600 Lighting Softube for Joker-Bug is designed and made for the 1600 but will accommodate a 800 unit.z

A: The Kit includes the ballast which is wireless DMX, ALS, Dimming, 1000Hz

A: Yes, both the head and power supply have extremely quiet fans.

A: No, HMI lamps require a specially designed fixture with a special transformer (ballast) that regulates the power going to the fixture.

A: 150W at 24V is about 6 amps. 150W at 36V is just under 4 amps.

Q: 10. Do the Profoto light modifiers fit the front diameter of this?

A: Yes, it is designed to be able to accept Profoto modifiers.

This is an unmissable tool for anyone with a GODOX M Series led unit. It focuses the led light and let's you get the absolute most out of it. Just don't go around thinking this tool gets you soft light... Cause it doesn't. It gathers every beam of light and bends it straight causing you to have a powerful singularly focused beam. It's glass and has the decency to come with a case! This is a must have tool for GODOX 300d-bi/600d-bi owners. When you need to A combat sun or B stimulate sun to backlight a room. Most lights shy of 1200 watts can't even come close to doing it without one of these. Great but at least price here at B&H! 5

The FL-28 mates to the 1200 and 2400. It's frankly too small on the 24 but is perfect for the 1200. Output diminishes a lot over running a 45° reflector, but the fresnel produces a lovely beam that feels more like the sun - harder shadow and less fringing. I love the build quality and it isn't gigantic like the FL-35. 5

Really impressed with the build quality of this Fresnel and Barn Door set! Its strong and feels great. A little heavy, but as long as the light supports it, I am thrilled! 5

This fits perfectly on the ml30bi light head. It works well as a fresnel lens should do to by gathering and focusing the light. The included barn doors are mostly made from metal and has a unique locking mechanism that attaches it to the fresnel. This works much better than some barn doors that clip on and hold with a spring clip. The nice zippered case is an added bonus for the fresnel, making it a nice package and protection for the glass lens. 2 caveats that stand out. 1) The barn doors will not fit in the fresnel lens case. It has to live in whatever case you are carrying your light instruments in. 2) The barn doors do not fit the reflector that came with the light. The barns doors, or perhaps the reflector should have been made to fit each other. It is annoying when you want to use barn doors to shape the light, but don't want to use the fresnel lens. Most manufacturers of non-Bowens mount equipment, make their own accessories. Godox is no exception, and their mini softbox and plastic diffusers work really well. But sometimes other use case scenarios are not addressed. These are minor points, and do not affect the useful nature of this accessory. I will certainly buy another set! 5

The light is awesome - built solid and barely heats up at all. IOS app is somewhat better than the Android app at this point, but that may change with updates. Our experience with Hive customer service was amazing. Super quick response and follow through. They set the bar for how customer service should be done! I want to purchase more devices from these guys, just because I know they will be there should I ever have issues. Again, great product, incredible service! 5

I use this with a Godox UL150 and it turns that light into a lighthouse. Outside at 50 yards, no problem. Lighting the bottom of a pool from a stand outside, no worries. Smallish form factor, comes with a very nice case, good value. Not all that smooth to operate, but it does its job. No regrets. 5
