The Tiffen 2 x 2" 80D Color Conversion Filter helps to increase the color temperature from 4200 to 5500K, allowing the use of daylight-balanced film in tungsten-lit conditions. The cooling effect of this filter requires a 0.3-stop increase in exposure for normal results.

This filter is made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. It measures 2 x 2" / 50.8 x 50.8mm.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this still include an Adobe photography plan download card?

A: This camera does not include an Adobe download card.

Q: 2. Is focus pull in movie mode (continuous movie AF) in low light as good as in normal light ?

A: More than likely it is not. The more depth of field you have, the better Video Auto Focus works. If you are shooting in lower light and have shallower depth of field the Auto Focus is more likely to hunt for focus.

Q: 3. How does it perform in low light situations? I am thinking about upgrading my Rebel T6 and am wondering how the 80D compares to 6D/6D mk2 in low light

A: I cant conpare the 80D to the 6D but I am very happy with my 80D. I upgraded from a 60D and use it with a 100-400 zoom for bird pictures. I shoot in all different lights and am extremely happy with the80D

Q: 4. Im curios if the Auto Focus also applied with the 60 fps (Video) as I know the D7 mk2 in 60fps.(video)Auto focus is not operational?

A: Yes, Movie Servo AF (manual page 326) applies to all frame rate choices. Suspend and resume also possible. Digital Zoom is grayed out at 60fps however.

Q: 5. does the 80d have built in focus stacking if not which one do?

A: According to Canon, the models that with focus stacking (referred to as focus bracketing by Canon) are the EOS 90D and three of their mirrorless cameras EOS RP, R6, and R5 (they didn't mention the original EOS R).

Q: 6. Will cable from Eos7d or Eos 50d work in 80d?

A: Shutter Release cable is the same as the XXXD & XXXXD cameras, not the same as the XXD or XD cameras.

Q: 7. is this used or new?

A: This camera kit is brand new from the manufacturer.

Q: 8. I gave a 24-105, 17-55, and an 85. To complete my set up it seems I need a longer zoom. Comments/suggestions?

A: The Canon EF 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6L IS II USM Lens B&H # CA1004002LIS would be a great option in a longer telephoto zoom. https://bhpho.to/2HmZrNR

Q: 9. does this camera have HDR ?

A: yes I believe so.

Q: 10. Can you set the movie time-lapse to take frames indefinitely? The instruction manual I downloaded seems to say it's 2 to 3600 frames only, but I _really_ want this feature, apparently the shutter-based time lapse can go indefinitely, and a reviewer somewhere said you can, so maybe the manual is wrong (or I'm being blind, entirely possible). This will strongly influence how eager I am to purchase this camera, as long time-lapses without wearing out the shutter are one of the things I sorely miss in my current T3i.

A: The 80D menu on the camera allows the user to select between 2 and 3600 images. So the manual is correct.
