This 40 x 60" Savage 5-in-1 Photo Reflector is an easy way to soften contrast or add warm or cool tones to your subject. The rectangular reflector's large surface area is ideal for groups or full length portraiture. It's built around a metal frame with white translucent material that allows you to soften harsh illumination like overhead sunlight or direct flash. The gold/silver side of the reversible sleeve gives you warm or cool reflected light to balance warm the blue cast in open shade or conversely, produce a late afternoon effect.

The white/black side of the slip cover provides soft, neutral fill light on the white side or "negative reflection" on the black side to strengthen shadows and contrast or create a lighting ratio on a flat, overcast day. The reflector folds down to approximately 1/3 its open size and stores in the included carrying bag.

A: The Savage Kit includes a lightweight stand with a clip at the top that holds the background. There are also 3 Velcro straps on the backgrounds. 1 on one end that you could attach to a light stand and 2 along one side that you could strap onto the crossbar of a background stand setup.

Q: 2. Can I buy the storage bag separately? The zipper on mine broke off entirely.

A: Yes, you can use a steamer to eliminate wrinkles if necessary, just make sure you do not hold the steamer against one spot of fabric for too long.

A: They're not exact colors but more of an overall tone. Very similar to what you see on the screen. Side A has a grayish/bluish muslin pattern. Side A has a greenish/grayish muslin pattern. This is a great kit for those portable portraits. My subjects have enjoyed the ability to have two choices and how quickly this sets up.

A: The background can be hung in either landscape or portrait position.

A: AmyThey are pretty much according to the website but naturally they will go darker or lighter depending on your light source. Also remember that the fabric is quite thin so it is sensitive to what you have behind it.This can be used to highlight a portrait from behind for example
