    A: Yes. The K-20x mounts very easily on the Alta Pro. You might need an 1/4"-20 to 3/8"-16 Screw Adapter (BH #SM1610) in case you don't have the one that came with the Alta Pro, as the tripod's camera mounting screw is a 1/4"-20 male, whereas the K-20X's base mount is 3/8"-16 female.

    A: This head features an industry standard 3/8 -16 sized tripod mounting threading, and as such can be used with any tripod which has this size male post (which is the vast majority of tripods). For tripods using a smaller 1/4 -20 threading there are adapters available making it compatible with just about any tripod.
