The Nalpak TP-1124L Tuffpak Hard Tripod Case with Lock (Black) is an 11" octagonal case that will snugly hold a tripod with a length of 24-29" and up to a 150mm ball head. Each case is made from rotationally molded cross-linked polyethylene. The process takes nearly 45 minutes per case and produces a durable tripod case. The tripod case comes with 2.0" of foam in the lid and the base to protect the equipment. The foam in the lid is glued in and the foam in the base (which is protected from the feet of the tripod by a plastic disk) is held in place by detents that are molded into the base of each case. The case is carried by a molded-in handle.

Tamper-proof, recessed tubular steel key lock, manufactured by Chicago Lock is individually keyed for maximum security. Two keys are shipped with the case. A quarter turn of the key pivots a cam inside the case under a steel tab. This is all it takes to lock the Tuffpak. In order to engage the lock, the lid must be fully closed.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this case fit a Nikon 24-120mm lens f4/G ED VR AFS with lens hood? Thanks

A: The lens shioukd fit; however the lens hood should be stored separate in perhaps a LensCoat Hoodie Lens Hood Cover.

Q: 2. Will this fit the new Canon RF 85mm F1.2 L lens with the lens hood on?

A: The Canon RF 85mm f/1.2L lens with hood attached will not fit in the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black); it would fit without the hood attached. The lens with hood attached would fit in the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm: https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/752416-REG/Lowepro_LP36306_PAM_Lens_Case_11_x.html/specs

Q: 3. Will the Tamron 150-600 fit in this case

A: Yes. the Tamron 150-600mm f/5-6.3 will fit in the Lowepro Lens Case 11x26cm.

Q: 4. Will this support a Panasonic GH5 with Leica 100-400mm lens?

A: I have the GH4 with the 35-100mm lens and it supports it just fine. I don't see why it would not support the bigger lens you have, but Im not sure because I never tried a heavier lens.

Q: 5. Will the Sony 100-400GM lens fit with hood reversed and tripod collar and foot on?

A: Yes, the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 26cm (Black) will fit the Sony FE 100-400mm f/4.5-5.6 GM OSS Lens with the hood reversed and the tripod foot on.

Q: 6. Is this ballhead arca swiss compatible?

A: No it is not.

Q: 7. Does the Befree Live Video Tripod come with a carbon fiber legs option?

A: No, but you can buy the carbon fiber legs and the Be Free video head separately, but you will pay a lot more for only a slight weight difference. Also, the carbon legs don't have the ball-joint between the fluid head and legs. That was the main selling point for me. The ability to adjust the head for level pans instead of messing with the hight of each leg. For me that's really what makes it a video tripod.

Q: 8. Would this be the right size case for the Canon 24-105 lens?

A: While the would hold the Canon 24-105mm f/4L EF IS USM lens, it would be slightly oversized and would allow room for the lens to move within the case. As such, I would recommend the Lowepro Lens Case 9 x 13cm (Black), B&H # LOLC913, as a much better fit for your lens. http://bhpho.to/1gkorzJ

Q: 9. Does 11cm x 14cm measure from inside to inside of the case?

A: Yes. My case measure 11cm across x 14cm deep inside the case. I just measured it for you.

Q: 10. Is there a Lowepro Lens Case (or a similar case) that fits an EF 300mm f/2.8 L lens, the non-IS original version?

A: A case such as the Kinesis E584 XX-Large Lens Pouch, BH # KIE584 would have plenty of room for a Canon EF 300mm f/2.8L lens. https://bhpho.to/3Gu33Mn

These lens cases are great. But this is how I carry them. Go to the local Army / Navy store and look for a utility belt. The belts are 2 & 1/2 inches wide and meant to be worn around your body. The belt will not fit in your pants belt loop. I have a total of five lense cases on the utility belt and again these cases are great.

I use the LensCase for my 17mm Canon TS-E lens when not in use. I also use it to transport the lens on my Cotton Carrier Harness and my Think Tank Rolling case. It is well padded and waterresistant and can be a multipurpose sized case for most smaller lenses. Lowpro makes a fine case. Recommend it to any photographer! Danpbphoto

I like it came with a sholder strap plus you can also attach it to your belt or camera bag.

purchased as a home for my Zeiss 21mm with its wide lens hood as the next size down seemed dimensionally too small by published specs. The case is way to large (wide) for this lens. I suspect the lowepro 9X13 would be better fit.

I bought this case for my Hasselblad Distagon lens and it does the job perfectly. I especially like the ability to include a couple of filters in the case as well as the belt attachment.
