This Cool-Lux CTO and Diffusion Filter Set is for the CL500 Series LED Lights. Included in the set are three color correction CTO filters, and two diffusion filters.

The full CTO gel converts 6500K daylight to 3200K tungsten light, the 1/2 CTO converts 6500K to 3800K, and the 1/4 CTO converts 6500K to 4600K.

For softening the LED light source, both the 1/2 White Diffusion filter and the Opal Frost filter reduce contrast between highlight areas, while absorbing 3/4 of a stop and 1/2 a stop respectively.

Just used this diffuser for the first time with my new GODOX lights and it truly made a difference in my footage (wedding). I popped it on to bring some extra light to the bridal and groom suites and also for the exit. The footage has never looked so good! 5

The combo of these gels plus the Lumi lights are a great tool.. No need for large scale lighting when you're shooting small (Reuters even medium) shoots! 5

I got this for no good reason. But, I'm very happy with it. It is great for photographing events. It is great for macro. It is all around great. The one caution is, it does kick some light back towards the lens. I found with my Fuji XF 35mm f1.4 and aiming the flash straight ahead, the exposure is somewhat messed up. Solutions, change the shape of the diffuser. Change the angle of the diffuser. Either works. Or, use a longer lens. On balance, I'm very happy with it. 5
