A: According to the manufacturer, a mixed solution that is tightly capped and stored in an appropriate container can last for 8-12 weeks.

A: Ilford does cut the negatives into strips of 4. If you dont want the negatives to be cut, you can request this. You would simply want to write this on the envelope.

A: All Profoto heads fit the same accessories, therefore this cap can fit a Profoto B1 with a dome.

A: Equipment not included in the kit are, • A processing tank and reels or a rotary-tube type processor. • Three empty chemical storage bottles. • A graduated pitcher. • TCS-1000 temperature control system, or • A timer, an accurate thermometer and a tempered water bath. Q: 8. It seems that all film processors can develop & mount slides with now scratches, but none of them do the same thing with negative. They depend on Digital ICE and over sharpen the pictures. Has anyone taken the Ilford negatives and scanned them? Were they essentially scratch free?

A: Kenneth, I used Illford on only 2 or 3 ocassions. The negatives they have sent back have been free on any kind of scratches.I have never scanned them but usually use a magnifying glass.

Q: 9. can I use this kit to do a Cross Processing on slide films?

A: You could take an E6 film and cross process it with this C41 kit. The issue is that cross processing is all about trial and error and be open to see what happens. We cannot guarantee what results you will have, but it is a fun process to use. If you are open to wild and unpredictable results and are interested in DIY it would be something fun to try.
