It is commonly associated for use with portraiture and attaining greater separation from skin tones and outdoor backgrounds.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this case fit the Tamron 150-600mm lens?

A: I don't have that lens (yet but may next summer) but fortunately a member of another forum I belong to posted this in one of my threads. A thread about how bad the Bag Finder for pouches was at getting things right. It was way off & I contacted Lowepro about it & was told they'd make corrections. I just got a LowePro 13 x 32cm for my Tamron 150-600 - it fits perfectly with the hood reversed & the tripod mount still in place.

Q: 2. Hi there, will it be suitable for a Nikon 500 f4 with the tripod collar? thanks

A: Assuming that you have a Nikon AF-S NIKKOR 500mm f/4G ED VR Lens, this Lowepro case would unfortunately not be suitable for it. As an alternative, the Nikon CL-L2 Soft Case for 400mm, 500mm and 600mm B&H # NICLL2 is something to consider. Please see the image below for reference.

Q: 3. Will this case fit a Fujifilm 8-16 f/2.8 R LM WR?

A: Yes, the Fujifilm 8-16 f/2.8 R LM WR will fit in the case. The case is w: 4.3 x H: 5.5" and the lens is 3.46 x 4.78"

Q: 4. purchased this 4 the sigma 16-28mm f/2.8 BH #SI162828DGLM ...but there's ~0.5-1" of extra space. Is there a way to add pading?

A: Adding padding to the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black) is impossible. However, you can fold the Sensei Premium Microfiber Lens Cloth (11 x 15"), BH #SEPLC11X15, and place it at the bottom of the case. This will take up space.

Q: 5. Is this the right fit for a Nikon 70-200mm f4?

A: I don't have a Nikon 70-200, but looks like your question has been answered. One comment, these cases are great for protection, but they are very bulky. Depending on what you are doing, you may want to get a more compact case.

Q: 6. Would this case fit the canon 70-300mm L lens with hood in reverse orientation? Thanks

A: The Lowepro 11x14cm Lens Case will be just slightly too small for the Canon 70-300 f.4-5.6L. The Pearstone Onyx 100 case will be a more suitable fit: http://bhpho.to/1iQXoy4

Q: 7. Will this dock add value to the Sigma 150-600 f5-6.3 ? I am using the lens on a Leica SL2.

A: I am assuming you are using this new version: Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3 DG DN OS Sports Lens for Leica L. That lens does not have a firmware update yet. Once a firmware update is available you can use the Sigma UD-11 USB Dock for Leica L to update the firmware.

Q: 8. is this case fit nikon 200-500mm f5.6?

A: No this would not fit , you can consider this one Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm (Black) B&H # LOLC1332

Q: 9. Will this case fit Tamron 17-70mm lens?

A: Yes, the Lowepro Lens Case 11 x 14cm (Black) is compatible with the Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Lens.

Q: 10. Would this be the right size case for the Canon 24-105 lens, with the Canon lens hood EW-83H in the reverse position?

A: I purchased this exact case, for the exact lens and hood, carried the exact way (reversed). Works great. It's a little snug diameter wise, but not to much. These cases work great by themselves or mounted to a top load case for quick access.
