The Tiffen 5 x 5" Gold Diffusion/FX 4 Filter diffuses strong light entering the lens and produces a glowing effect. While the resulting image appears softer and ethereal, there is little loss of clarity or detail. This filter works by diffusing the light entering the lens with small aberrations; by spreading the light more evenly, a soft glow is created rather than the sharp, well-defined image when shooting without a filter. In addition to the diffusion provided, a gold tint is also added to the image giving more warmth and helping to balance skin tones. The 4 density provides more softening than the 3, but less than the 5.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 5 x 5" / 127 x 127mm.

A: You can power you entire rig from ALL ports (at the same time) if the LanParte Battery Pinch is plugged into a home wall outlet with the supplied 110V AC adapter. Unfortunately this unit will not charge original OEM Anton Bauer batteries , since they require OEM Anton Bauer chargers - propriety electronics I guess. Lucky I kept my OEM Anton Bauer charger which I use it to charge my three Dionic 90 AB batteries for use on the LanParte Battery Pinch with no issues to date. In Dec 2018 I replaced one of the dying Dionic 90 batteries with a LanParte AB -150 which I can charge/use on the LanParte Battery Pinch. Now I have the best of two worlds.

A: The BM230 4K is not a true bit display (8-Bit+FRC). It imitates 10-bit by using frame rate control and attempt to fill in the original missing color.
