The 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens for Fujifilm X Mount from Rokinon is a manual focus telephoto prime lens useful for portraiture and most telephoto applications. Its fast f/2.0 maximum aperture is effective in low light and enables shallow depth of field control. With a rounded 9-blade diaphragm, shallow depth of field imaging will be rendered with pleasing out-of-focus highlights. On APS-C format mirrorless cameras, this lens provides the 35mm equivalent focal length of 202.5mm. Its minimum focus distance is 2.6'.

The optical design includes one extra-low dispersion lens element to control chromatic aberration, contributing to sharp, color-accurate imaging, and each of its lens elements features Ultra Multi-Coating to improve light transmission and reduce ghosting and flare. An internal focus system prevents the front end from rotating which allows more effective use of variable filters.

A durable metal barrel with a wide focus ring and manual aperture control ring offer tactile control over focus and exposure. An included, removable lens hood deters stray light from entering the lens, while protecting it from accidental impact and precipitation.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is this lens compatible with the Canon EOS Rebel T3i?

A: Yes this lens is compatible with the Rebel T3i. Keep in mind that there's a crop factor so the field of view you'll have is a 202mm not 135mm.

Q: 2. Is this lens compatible with the Canon R6 if Canon's EF to RF adapter is used?

A: Yes the Rokinon 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens (Canon EF) is compatible with the R6 when using this Canon EF to RF adapter: https://bhpho.to/37BvqWB

Q: 3. Why does this lens not come with an AE CHIP for Canon?? For traits I'd want the focus beep confirmation and the ability to shift aperture through the camera.

A: Rokinon offer both versions and different price points.

Q: 4. What does it mean by manual focus ring in specs section? Can i use auto-focus with this lens?

A: This is a fully manual lens and will not have autofocus.

Q: 5. How is this (if at all) different from the Samyang 135mm f/2 which is on backorder?

A: There will be little to no difference between the Rokinon 135mm f/2 lens for E-mount and Samyang 135mm f/2 lens for E-mount.

Q: 6. Has anyone found a 3rd party tripod collar to fit this lens?

A: The Manfrotto 293 Telephoto Lens Support with Quick Release B&H # MA293 is something you may use to support this lens.

Q: 7. Can achieve Zone Focusing on a Samyang/Rokinon 135mmf/2.0 and it's a smart/doable thing to do for sports photography?

A: I highly recommend you to buy a lens which allows you to use a AF for sports in general. Chances are most of your pictures will be blury, out of focus, if you use this lens - specially in f2. I've bought it six months ago and I personally love this lens, but I wouldn't use it for this purpose. Or at least not if you aim to have Zone Focusing.

Q: 8. Can I use this lens on a super 35mm digital camcorder like the Sony FS700?

A: As the Sony NEX-FS700R Super 35 Camcorder uses the Sony E-mount, not the Canon EF lens mount, the above lens would not work for your needs. Instead, you would need to purchase the Rokinon 135mm f/2.0 ED UMC Lens for Sony E MountB&H # RO1352SE, for use on the Sony NEX-FS700R Super 35 Camcorder. Do note this is a fully manual lens, so you will need to set the focal length and aperture on the lens manually.

Q: 9. I am assuming that Nikon D780 is compatible with this lens. Do I need to turn the dial "AF M" of my camera to "M" before I mount this lens? Thanks.

A: You must put the D780 into manual exposure mode to properly operate this lens on it.

Q: 10. Is this lens compatible with Sony A6000? If yes, Does it require any adapter to fix. ?

A: Fits right on without an adapter. I use it for my a6000 and a7RII.

First, I always use a tripod and prefer to use manual focus on a D810 using Live View. I shoot mostly landscapes, birds, flowers and and still life. This lens is perfect for my needs. It is well built, and feels solid to the touch. I have several lenses that are sharp (Sigma 50mm ART, Nikon 20mm, and Nikon 80-200 for example). When focused properly, this lens this lens is as sharp, or sharper than the others. However, there is a difference. When I received the lens, I started taking practice shots around my home. First I shot my dog from about ten feet away while he was a laying the couch. I could count the hairs on his chin and see every feature clearly. I had expected this and would have returned the lens otherwise. But when I zoomed in on his eye, I could see the features of the room (distorted by the shape of the eye, but visible). I later took a shot of two birds sitting on a porch railing, when I zoomed in on their eyes, I could see features of the doorway I was shooting from, the exterior wall, and the blue of the sky. The point is, that not only is this lens sharp, but there is a level of detail that my other lenses do not have. I have no idea why that is so, but I also found it in images taken at a beach and in a wooded area. I am very happy with the lens and look forward to discovering its full potential.

Perfect manual lens for astronomy and the lack of features makes it affordable. I would like to see Rokinon make a longer manual lens, such as a 300mm F/2.8. That would be perfect for astronomy.

This is a really good. Prime lens, that I’ve only used at night. It’s good for deep space photography. You can’t beat the price. Clarity is very good.

This was the first manual lens that I've purchased - bought it for use with my Astrophotography setup. While its great for Deep Space Objects - I also tried it on a tripod for other non-astro uses. While it does require a lot of effort compared to automatic lenses - it takes amazingly sharp photos! Its the sharpest lens I own honestly. B&H got it to me so quickly - I had it out of the box and on my tripod within 2 days of ordering it!

I purchased this lens for astrophotogrphy. Since I am using it on still targets the manual focus is not a problem. The lens is well made and feels solid. It works very well with my Canon T6i. I have used it with a tracking mount and with a standard tripod. I back the f stop off from 2.0 to 2.8 and my stars come out nice and round all the way to the corners.

This has been a great lens at a great price (when compared to lenses from other manufacturers). It has become my go to lens for astrophotogrphy.
