The Tiffen 6 x 6" Gold Diffusion/FX 2 Filter diffuses strong light entering the lens and produces a glowing effect. While the resulting image appears softer and ethereal, there is little loss of clarity or detail. This filter works by diffusing the light entering the lens with small aberrations; by spreading the light more evenly, a soft glow is created rather than the sharp, well-defined image when shooting without a filter. In addition to the diffusion provided, a gold tint is also added to the image giving more warmth and helping to balance skin tones. The 2 density provides more softening than the 1, but less than the 3.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass and grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch. This filter measures 6 x 6" / 152.4 x 152.4mm.

A: A recall is done over reliability issues.

Q: 4. Will this work with the GH6 in the Prores modes?

A: 100% meets system requirements all a end-user really needs is 1300mbps for a good end-user experience.

Q: 5. I want to power my BlackMagic VIdeo Assist 4K unit with this, but want to know if the power output is voltage regulated. is it?

A: The Pinch is voltage regulated so your Video Assist 4K is safe. We have not heard of any damage of any device caused by the Pinch. Also do know, battery operated devices have nominal voltage ratings meaning they are designed to work with voltage that varies. So even though the Video Assist 4K says 12DCV, it will work in the range of 10-14 volts.

Q: 6. Does the Type A card fit the Z8, Z9, or Z7ii?

A: The Lexar 160GB Professional CFexpress Type A Card GOLD Series is incompatible with the Nikon Z8, Z9, and Z7 II Mirrorless Cameras. These cameras are compatible with CFexpress Card Type B. The Lexar 256GB Professional CFexpress Type B Card GOLD Series is a good option. Here is the link: https://bit.ly/3C9bEBj.

Q: 8. Can I see all 4 inputs (picture-in-picture) simultaneously?

A: YES

Q: 9. What length rails should be used to support this unit? Can it be position in any other position other than horizontal?

A: The unit hinges on the rail support at least 180 . The length of the rails all depends on where and how you will mount the unit. Ive done it in almost any direction and length you can think of at one point I was working off a cheese plate with stubby 4 inch 15mm rails coming vertically off the back but simple is the best. 2 long rails means you will have a sturdy easy to handle rig so thats what i would suggest. i shoot with a bmcc 2.5. I would pair with switronix xp-l90. good bang for your buck and comes with p tap and usb inputs very versitile

Q: 10. Is the sustained write speed of this card sufficient for the 8k30 Raw on the Canon R5? (2.6Gbps == 325MBps)

A: This is the best type of card you can get for the R5. In 8K RAW 30 the data rates are about 2600 Mbps. I would probably suggest a different CFExpress card with a faster write speed if you're aiming to film in 8K raw.
