With a clamshell design, the 13 x 19 x 1.4" Onyx Portfolio Box from Archival Methods flips open to allow easy access to your prints. The interior of the box is lined with an 80 lb acid- and lignin-free white paper. With a depth of 1.4", the clamshell box can accommodate 14x 4/2 ply, 10x 4/4 ply, and 20x 2/2 ply matted prints. The adhesive used in construction is pH balanced, and the archival box has passed the Photographic Activity Test (PAT), which makes the box suitable for long-term storage.

The box core is made from a 0.100 Kappa Binder's Board, which is lignin- and acid-free, and the sulfur content has been reduced to <0.0008%. The board has been buffered to keep acidity from transferring to the stored materials. Furthermore, the exterior of the box is bound in a library quality F-Grade Buckram (poly-cotton), which is coated in a moisture-resistant, 100% aqueous acrylic.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will this fit the Nikon AF-S 80-200 f2.8 ED IF (The AF-S version) ?

A: I purchased this lens case for my Tamron 150 to 600mm super zoom lens. That lens fits perfectly into the case which is very well made, well padded, and secure. If the lens you are purchasing (or already own) is a bit shorter than the Tamron lens, you might consider adding some rubber pads at the bottom of the case to hold the 80 to 200mm lens firmly. I'm sorry, but I do not know the dimensions of my Tamron lens off the top of my head.

Q: 2. Will the Sigma Sport 60-600mm Fit

A: This case can accommodate a Sigma 60-600mm f/4.5-6.3 DG OS HSM Sports Lens.

Q: 3. will the Nikon Z 180-600 fit in this case?

A: Unfortunately, the Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm (Black) is slightly too small to fit the Nikon Z 180-600.

Q: 4. Do you know if this bag will fit a nikon 400mm f3.5? The physical dimensions of the lens are just slightly larger than the listed diameter. If the bag tapers, it may fit. If this doesn't fit, what bag would you suggest? - possibly the APE 18?Thanks, todd

A: I checked the dimensions of your lens and Lowepro does not make a lens case large enough to fit the 400mm f3.5 Nikon. You are correct about the Ape 18. It would be the best fit for your lens. Please see the following link:http://bhpho.to/1o17Xy5

Q: 5. is this compatible with profoto A10 clic system?

A: The Profoto Rectangular Softbox (2 x 3', Silver Interior) does not work with the Profoto A10 click system. It has a built in speedring that is made for ProHeads and B10 Lights

Q: 6. Do the straps in the front adjust to be able to attach a monopod to the pack?

A: Yes they can adjust to accept a monopod.

Q: 7. Will the Tamron 150 - 600 mm G2 fit in this case? I've read it is slightly larger than the original 150 - 600 mm.

A: Yes this would still fit in this pouch

Q: 8. Can I put a tamron 150-600 (hood reversed) + Sony a7r ii (attached) in this case? Thx for your help.

A: While I don't have a Sony, my Tamron 150-600 (Canon mount) pretty well takes up the whole case. Looking at the dimensions of your camera, there would not be the needed 2.5 depth need to leave the camera attached. You need something like the Tamrac 517 tele-zoom pack.

Q: 9. Would it fit Canon RF 800mm f11 lens? Thanks!

A: No, the Lowepro Lens Case 13 x 32cm (Black) is too small for the Canon RF 800mm f/11 IS STM Lens.

Q: 10. Will this fit a Canon 200mm f/1.8 or f/2 with the hood reversed?

A: Yes it should. My Tamron 150 600 fits nicely with the hood reversed

Good price and clean and easy to remove from the bag one at a time, which isn’t the case with some of these!
