Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Have you try the mirrorless Splat with heavier cameras than the 1.1lb load capacity stated??

A: My Splat (3-leg) says it is rated for 1500g or 3 lbs of camera, which is why I bought it - I'm using a Canon EOS Rbel SL1 body with the new Tamron 16-300 lens, which weighs in at 2 pounds 7 ounces, including the strap. For my rig, the tripod works extremely well, just as I expected, and lives in my backpack or camera bag.

Q: 2. can this be mounted on a tripod ?

A: Yes it can be mounted on a tripod.

Q: 3. Off a tripod...Is the flexible grip sturdy/stiff enough to handhold a camera by this grip like a typical L bracket? Or do I need to hold on to the camera also?

A: It is less sturdy than the typical bracket but interesting to use for a more flexible lighting effects. Hold onto the camera.

Q: 4. Does this work with the shoe mount included with the Azden SGM-250?

A: The shock mount on the Azden is open so its possible it could fall from the boom pole. I would prefer a more secure shock mount. Like the B&H # AUDUSM1.

Q: 5. Is it stable enough for a rode blimp?

A: I should think so.

Q: 6. Can I put a base on this monopod?

A: No, you can't.

Q: 7. Hallo.. Do this boompole also work for azden smx 10?

A: Yes, as long as your microphone has a shoe mount it should definitely work.

Q: 8. Can this be mount to a Zhiyun Smooth 4?

A: If you flip the mounting screw onto the 1/4-20 side, this monopod can fit the bottom of the Zhiyun-Tech Smooth-4 Smartphone Gimbal.

Q: 9. Does this boom pole have any female threads on the bottom?

A: There are no female threads on the bottom end of this boom pole.

Q: 10. Can I use this with a audio technica at676r shotgun mic please?

A: Yes it is, you can use this with many shotgun mics
