The Tiffen 67mm Black Diffusion/FX 3 Filter diffuses strong light entering the lens and produces a glowing effect. While the resulting image appears softer and ethereal, there is little loss of clarity or detail. This filter works by diffusing the light entering the lens with small aberrations; by spreading the light more evenly, a soft glow is created rather than the sharp, well-defined image when shooting without a filter. This filter has a 3 density, providing a moderate amount of softening.

Tiffen filters are made using ColorCore technology, a process that involves laminating the filter substrate between 2 pieces of optical glass, grinding flat to a tolerance of 1/10,000th of an inch, and then mounting to precision metal rings.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Can this Z lens work with Nikon full frame camera (850) by turning the collar around?

A: The Nikon NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/2.8 S Lens is only compatible with Nikon full frame mirrorless Z cameras. It is not compatible with Nikon full frame DSLR cameras.

Q: 2. The description says the lens is quiet, but is the focusing quiet enough to use a hot shoe-mounted mic when shooting video? How's it compare to the AF-S in focusing noise?

A: The lens is very quiet and a hotshoe mic will not pick up any lens noise.

Q: 3. Can this be adapted to fit my D850?

A: No, this cannot be adapted to fit F-mount series cameras.

Q: 4. Can this lens work wit Nikon 7ii?

A: Absolutely! The Z-mount lenses are made exclusively for Z-mount cameras like the Z7II.

Q: 5. What are it's advantages over the Canon EF 35mm f/1.4L II USM bound with a Metabones IV (witch I do 'already have, with latest firmware) - if we do the abstraction of price and that it's more elegant to not have to do with adapters..)? :Is the Bokhe and softer f1.4 til f2.8 a real advantage for portraits, has it better 3D effect over the latest Canon ?

A: The main advantage of using this lens over a Canon with an adapter is simply that this is a native Sony E-Mount lens. Adapters are very nice and have come a long way, but they still are not flawless. You will get a perfect performance as far as control of the lens and auto focus when using a native lens. This also happens to be a Zeiss Distagon T* lens, which is a very beautiful and high quality lens.

Q: 6. Is this actually an internal focus camera?

A: Hi, the NIKKOR Z 24-200mm f/4-6.3 VR lens is an internal focus lens.

Q: 7. Has Nikon canceled the Z 70-200mm f/2.8 S lens?

A: Hi, this is a brand-new lens that hasn't been shipped yet.

Q: 8. can this product be used with Sony ALPHA 7 camera

A: As the Sony E PZ 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Lens is designed for the NEX lens mount, the lens will fit onto the Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera. However, do note that the Sony Alpha a7 Mirrorless Digital Camera is a full-frame camera, and the Sony E PZ 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Lens is designed for APS-C cropped sensors. As such, the use of the Sony E PZ 18-200mm f/3.5-6.3 OSS Lens will reduce the image's maximum megapixel count from 24 megapixels down to 10 megapixels if you use the APS-C crop mode. If you do not use the APS-C crop mode, then there will be a black vignette around the edge of your image where the smaller rear end of the lens is blocking light from reaching the full-frame sensor.

Q: 9. Is 50 cm the real minimum distance ? Thanks from ... Paris, France

A: Yes at 70mm zoom position the minimum focus distance is 50 cm.

Q: 10. Does this lens have a plastic feel or more of a metallic feel?

A: This is a high quality Nikon lens, nothing about it feels plasticky.
