A: The padding in the Ruggard Commando Pro 45 DSLR Shoulder Bag is very good and more than adequate to protect any camera and lenses. It's not possible to compare with Lowepro without a specific model.

I really spent time looking online at bags before making a purchase. I received a smaller bag of the same brand lineup with another purchase. Both bags are excellent in materials and craftsmanship. Padding is perfect, enough but not overly bulky where you lose room for your goods. I am so impressed with both of these bags, I will be buying another. Great for storage when not using your lenses, and great for travel if you are like me and use various lenses for various genres of photography. Completely impressed, and very happy. I'll never look at a different brand of bag, this is super. 5

My new Nikon D4 came with this shoulder bag and I am so glad it did. It zips and seals up nicely. I can fit my D4 body and 2 lenses or my D4 with a lens and a speedlight, just perfect for me. I prefer to carry it with the handle on top because of the shape of the bag, I am a female and just don't find it to be comfortable on my shoulder. I had looked at other camera bags and did not find one to suit me. I am so glad I waited because this one is great! 5

It carries and protects my gear from damage. The bag is small enough to carry comfortably. I normally transport my equipment to jobs in Pelican cases but the Commando Pro 45 is perfect for day trips, family gatherings or low key shoots where you don't want to haul big bags or cases. I wouldn't recommend it for pro use unless you're a pro that doesn't carry much gear in your package.. and I don't know any of my colleagues that travel light! haha 5
