A: Hi Dane - the microRemote has 270 degrees of throw which should be more than enough for almost any lens (with the exception of macro lenses that have )you can manually calibrate to a portion of the lens' throw so you can get even more granularity for shots that have limited range. I'd suggest checking with Heden on their power requirements, just make sure you know if they use arri standard or US standard polarity (they are opposite of the two) and use the appropriate cable.

A: The Red Komodo and the SmallHD Cine 7 both have a 2-pin LEMO power connector, so in theory it should work. However with out testing I cannot confirm. This cable is described to power an optional Redrock microRemote.
