Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does it include a carrying case?

A: Yes. Mine included a very basic flimsy black carrying case that will hold all of this equipment and more.

Q: 2. Is it good for the JBL 4312A (8 ohms) speaker?

A: The vintage JBL 4312A are control monitors and designed for in studio use. They could be connected to the STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver but will not sound as good as they should. They sound best with more power than this AV home receiver can muster!

Q: 3. Is there USB connectivity for input from an Ipod?

A: Unfortunately this model does not have the ability for USB connection to an iPod or Smartphone. The USB port in the back is meant for Service and Firmware updates. You will need a Mini to RCA cable to connect either device to this Receiver.

Q: 4. Can you use and graphic equalizer with this receiver?

A: Yes. There is an output (Audio 4) allowing an external device, such as a graphic EQ to be connected and returned on 'Audio 4" input.

Q: 5. where is the bass and treble control?

A: Hi Michael, yes, you can use the remote control to adjust the bass and treble of the receiver. ~Ralph

Q: 6. Will these lights fit onto a boom arm? If so, what product(s) are recommended to do this?

A: These lights screw on top of a light stand. You only need to attach a clamp with a threaded shaft, you should be fine to use it. Mind you that they are AC powered, so you will have to care for the wire of your AC adapter if your boom goes too high.

Q: 7. Do I have to use rca cable with ground to connect Sony ps-lx310bt turntable to this receiver?

A: The Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver (BH # SOSTRDH190) utilizes a screw terminal for grounding the phone. Bare wire is fine. The Sony PS-LX310BT Stereo Turntable with Bluetooth & USB (BH #S OPSLX310BT) does not require separate grounding.

Q: 8. Is this pan handle compatible with the geekoto CT32X Gravity 85 tripod?

A: No, the Magnus Telescoping Pan Handle for VT-5000/6000 is not compatible with the GEEKOTO CT32X Gravity 85 Tripod.

Q: 9. Will it work in Israel? Here the input power is 120 VAC, 60 Hz but in Israel, it's 220 VAC, 50 Hz

A: No, unless you use a transformer. As the Sony STR-DH190 Stereo Receiver, has voltage support of 120 VAC, 60 Hz.

Q: 10. Is it possible, to connect multiple bluetooth input sources simultaneously to this receiver?

A: The receiver is only able to accept one bluetooth connection at a time.

Light weight and very comfortable to wear for long monitoring sessions. The sound is clear and accurate. Never heard headphones as good for double the price.

These are the best headphones you can buy under $50. There is a reason they have been around for 25 years. I bought my 1st pair back in 1985 to use with my walkman! I now use them for my ipod. They have a life time warranty! I am on my 3rd pair. Use them up and when they break down, ... and they will send you another pair! How can you beat that. I own several other higher end head phones and these hold their own. Great sound at a great price!

Comfortable, efficient, warm and detailed sound. Great bass, smooth midrange and clear treble, flat curve and no distortion. They bring music to life. Unbeatable at twice the price. The Senheiser's 'equivalent' (PX-100) is a good try, but they come up short. These are the best portable headphones at any price. Period. They sound great, are comfortable and compact. They even have an attractive price. How could you improve on that?

I had a pair in the 80's and bought a pair for my daughter for Christmas. At first she was reluctant to use them with the old school looks (they aren't earbuds afterall). She now agrees that they are the best for sound quality and comfort. The PortaPros are all she will use now, the earbuds have been in a drawer since. The best, still...
