A: In order to get audio into your Apple iPad Air from the Rode NTG microphone you would connect the TRRS cable from the mic to an Apple Lightning to 3.5mm Headphone Jack Adapter, BH #APLAADAP and then into the lightning port of the iPad. You will not be able to charge the microphone with an iPad.
