Q: 1. I have a RRS BA9 plate for Sony A7R III. Does the RRS plate fit the clamp of the arca-swiss P0 ballhead with fliplock or I need to get the one with classic quick release?

A: I just sent the arca-swiss PO ballhead with fliplock back since I could never get it tight on either of my plates...the arca-swiss one or another off brand. There is a wheel to adjust it but no matter the direction I turned it I could not get it to tighten then it completely came unscrewed and fell apart. I guess I turned it too far. It was spring loaded and it would not fit back together so I sent it back. The locking mechanism is also very hard to use. I would seriously advise you to the the classic quick release version.

A: No the clamp on the Slik SH-747FC 3-Way Pan-Tilt Head with :Friction Control and Arca-Type Quick Release Set are non removable.

A: I like this head. After setting the base to horizontal, I can rotate the head 360 degrees and the horizon level is kept. This doesn't happen with other heads I used before. Definitely a keeper for me.

Q: 5. Can the ball be rotated so that you have a vertical perspective as well as the horizontal?

A: Yes, the ball flips completely 90 degrees to the side. It will hold steady.Generally speaking if you use portrait mode a lot, you may want to get an L bracket. It's much easier to get all lined up when you can just put your camera on top already in portrait mode.

Q: 6. Is there a way to adjust tension on the fine tune knobs? cube has this option, I have a lightweight mirrorless camera and don't need a lot of tension. Thanks in advance.

A: Not that I know of, but it is not an issue. The knobs turn easily and stay put where you leave them. I am having a great time with my p0.

Q: 7. Will this head used with feisol ct-3442 let the legs be folded over and be carried in the feisol bag ?

A: Yes, it will fit in the Feisol bag.

Q: 8. Is it possible to remove the clamp on this head? I found this fliplock clamp really hard to use and I would like to replace it with a RRS clamp.

A: I do not believe is possible to replace the clamp. And yes, at times it appears difficult to open the clamp but once you master it, it is easy and the safest. To open just squeeze the clamp close and pull the retainer knob at the en towards you. When it releases, just open it half way and release it complety by pulling the second retainer away from the ball. Once I considered this the best ballhead but it tends to come apart if not careful when adjusting the width of the jaws opening.
