The L Series LT from Lectrosonics is a digital hybrid wireless bodypack transmitter with a 75 MHz tuning bandwidth, a multi-function toggle switch, and the ability to respond to remote commands from RM or smartphone apps. It can be used to capture audio in environments for applications such as broadcast TV, theater, houses of worship, live stage, and more.

The LT has several other features to help you obtain good clear audio, such as selectable RF power at 50 or 100 mW, a compatibility mode to ensure analog receivers will work well with the transmitter, and a Servo microphone input allowing you to use a microphone or line level inputs.

In addition, the durable LT transmitter is enclosed in machined-aluminum housing. It has a detachable antenna that can easily be removed for transportation. An LCD and membrane switch interface make the LT transmitter easy to setup and simple to use. This transmitter operates in the B1 frequency range between 537.600 to 607.950 MHz.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. What is the expected runtime for the SMDWB on Eneloop Pro 2450s and Energizer Lithium (the data sheet only shows Alkaline, which seems possibly incorrect)?

A: The battery run time for the Lectrosonics SMDWB with AA lithium, disposable batteries is. At 50 mW (2 x AA): 14.5 hours and at 100 mW (2 x AA): 14 hours.

Q: 2. Is this compatible with the plug on HMa transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics IFBR1B Bodypack IFB Receiver with Charger can receive signal from a Lectrosonics HMa transmitter on the same frequency range set to IFB Mode.

Q: 3. It is possible to combine a Lectrosonics L-Series LMb (B1: 537 to 614 MHz) with a UCR 411A?

A: Yes, the LMb transmitter can be used with all Lectrosonics Digital Hybrid Wireless receivers including the UCR411a when the compatibility mode for the transmitter and receiver are both set to the "Nu Hybrid" compatibility mode. Lectrosonics notes that if your receiver does not have Nu Hybrid mode, then set the receiver to the "Euro Digital Hybrid Wireless" compatibility mode.

Q: 4. Can I create a flexlist with this transmitter and the m2r?

A: Yes. On page 12 of Operators Manual it is described: Selecting M2R Receiver Functions The M2R Receiver includes a FlexList™ mode where up to 16 mixes can be accessed by name. This feature enables a user to quickly find and listen to any of the performer’s mixes on the stage. The mix includes the name, frequency, mixer settings and limiter settings. The mix is easily shared via the M2R IR port, added to the list of 16 mixes and stored until cleared by the user. The M2R allows the user to toggle between the mixes, making troubleshooting issues easy and efficient. Flex Sync DCHT, DCHT/E01 information to the M2R FlexList either as one stereo Channel or individual channels: - SendTx: Send (sync) all receiver information to the M2R FlexList as one stereo channel - SendCh1: Send (sync) Channel 1 unique information to the M2R FlexList - SendCh2: Send (sync) Channel 2 unique information to the M2R FlexList - SendM12: Send (sync) a mono mix of both channels to the M2R FlexList Use th

Q: 5. Am I able to use the lectrosonics IFB to tune into this transmitter? I didn't see an IFB mode.. just DHCT and DUET mode.

A: This unit is not compatible with the IFB model receivers. For an IFB receiver, you'd need a version of their IFBT4 transmitters in the corresponding frequency as the receiver. Such as this B&H # LEIFBT421.

Q: 6. Does the transmitter come with a belt clip included?

A: The Lectrosonics LMb Digital Hybrid Wireless Beltpack Transmitter does come with a metal belt clip.

Q: 7. Could these, along with the DCHR, be used as another set of talent wireless sets to be plugged into a mixer/recorder?

A: The Lectrosonics DCHT Wireless Digital Camera Hop Transmitter can be used together with the Lectrosonics DCHR Camera-Mount Miniature Digital Camera Hop Wireless Receiver as a wireless IFB system to send audio from a mixer/recorder.

Q: 8. Do non servo ta5f connectors work with the lmb transmitter?

A: Yes, the Lectrosonics L-Series LMb Bodypack Wireless Transmitter and all other Lectrosonics transmitters with 5-pin inputs have servo bias inputs that can also be used with other conventional wiring configurations.

Q: 9. Can you use this with a SRa receiver

A: So long as your SRa receiver has the same frequency ranges as the LMb transmitter, the LMb transmitter will work with an SRa receiver.

Q: 10. Does this unit only provide limited frequency spectrum (15 Hz to 11.3 kHz)? I would like to use this as a compact IEM wireless solution but am concerned I wouldn't be able to hear my mix with fidelity after investing so much in this kit. I almost ordered this before catching the limited spec as there are no other body pack-sized (transmitter) solutions on the pro market for wireless IEM. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

A: The DCHT, like the M2T rack unit, provides 20 - 12 kHz audio frequency response with the M2R receiver. Although on paper that appears quite limited, the impression upon listening to it is that everything is there. By far most of the energy in a mix is between 50 Hz and 10 kHz, with harmonics extending above that. I would suggest giving it a listen and decide for yourself. If you have already used the M2T and M2R combination, then you are hearing the same thing you would hear with the DCHT and M2R.
