The Wimberley M-9 Module serves as the vertical upright and quick-release attachment for the F-9 Wimberley Head Version II Flash Bracket Combo.

It folds for easy storage and connects directly to the swinging arm of the Wimberley Head.

Wimberley's modular Shape Shifter system needs no tools for use. Components quickly and easily connect to one another, with a design that makes creep or twist during use simply impossible. All knobs are captive, and cannot fall off accidentally from being unscrewed too far.

A: There are no threaded holes on the bottom of this bracket that will allow this to to be mounted to a tripod.

Q: 3. if i mount this on to my canon 70-200 f2.8L IS II on a ballhead, would I be able to fit the Vello CB-600 Straight Flash Bracket on the front of the plate?

A: At least my Wimberley quick release plate does not have threads in the (appropriate size) round holes that it has. Therefore I can not directly connect my (old Hama) flash bracket plate under it. I could connect it through the holes by using an additional bolt with washer and nut. (I hope I understood the intended configuration right.)

A: It has a load capacity of 8 ounces.

A: There is no difference but just the color. This one is black.

Q: 6. Hi, I need to get an off camera flash bracket. I have the Wimberley head version II.I shoot a nikon d800 and d300, 300mm 2.8, 70-200 2.8, 24-70. This bracket was recommended to me. Is this the one I should get or is there another, etc.??? And do I need some accessories to make this work with my camera.thanks,Wendy

A: Since you are using long lenses, the Wimberly F-1 will be an excellent choice for a flash bracket. To use this bracket with your camera, you can use the Wimberly Module 8 Perpendicular Plate: http://bhpho.to/1qZf2mP

Q: 7. Compatible with Markins Ring Plate RC-60 or not?.

A: I do not personally own the ring plate but, since the RC-60 has an Arca-swiss compatible slot, the flash bracket should be compatible with it.

Q: 8. Is this compatible with a Flex Shooter ball head (manual disconnect), a kirk plate on the shoe of an RF 100-500?

A: It has not been tested but technically the Wimberley F-1 Telephoto Combo Flash Bracket should work with the Flex Shooter ball head (manual disconnect, Kirk plate on the RF100-500 tripod collar.

A: The top arm of the Wimberley F-1 Telephoto Combo Flash Bracket can be rotated when holding a flash.

A: The Wimberley P20 Quick Release Plate is the recommended plate for the Nikon NIKKOR Z 400mm f/4.5 VR S Lens, if you do not want to change the lens foot. Haven't had a chance to try it outside, but works well inside for doing macro with focus stacking to hold flowers and plants gently and steadily in place at just about any angle. The clamp that attaches to a tripod isn't big enough for the upper tube of my tripod, but could connect to the next lower tube, so I'm looking forward to using it in the field. 5

This is my second one....This type of clamp comes in different sizes....some are smaller, for smaller projects. This is my second one at this size. Works perfect. Nice features (including a groove in clamp to hold shade). Strongly recommend 5

I use it to hold a 20x20 foam core fill card. Handles it no problem, so it could definitely handle a bigger piece, if needed. It's nice just attaching this to the table I'm shooting on so I don't have yet another c-stand on set to get in the way. 5

I BOUGHT THIS CLAMP WITH THE PURPOSE OF USING IT TO HOLD A REFLECTOR AND PARTS OF A FLOWER SINCE I DO A LOT OF MACRO PHOTOGRAPHY. I DECIDED TO BUY TWO WHEN I ORDERED, WITH THE INTENT OF USING THE SECOND FOR A MINI FLASHLIGHT WHEN I NEEDED MORE LIGHT WHEN IN THE FIELD. THE CONSTRUCTION IS SECOND TO NONE - VERY WELL MADE WITH A VERY STRONG CLAMP. DOES NOT MOVE FROM WHERE YOU FASTEN IT. THE OTHER END HAS NUMEROUS ADVANTAGES - WITH HOLD A FLOWER STEM WITHOUT DAMAGING IT - WILL HOLD THE EDGE OF A REFLECTOR - WILL HOLD A MINI FLASHLIGHT FIRM THIS CLAMP HAS PROVED INVALUABLE BOTH IN THE FIELD AND STUDIO. AN IMPRESSIVE PRODUCT, WELL MADE AND AFFORDABLE - I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS TO ANY PERSON. PERHAPS IT COULD BE USED FOR HOBBIES AND CRAFTS - EVEN DELICATE WORK. 5
